Elixir Electrician

We had quite a list when we moved into our new home in Houston and Elixir Electrician helped us with everything. We even added things to the list when he got there and noticed the lights in our chandelier were out. He got right up there and changed them for us! He’s amazing and we’ve had issues with other contractors not doing the right thing but we have never had to worry about that with Elixir. They will continue to be our go-to electricians and we tell everyone we know about them as well! They’re that good!

Dan and the team came to my home twice to install brand-new wiring for a doorbell, as my home didn't have any previous doorbell wiring in place. They were very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and diligent. They didn't push us at all to purchase anything more expensive and they patiently explained our options to us multiple times. It's been about 2 weeks now since the doorbell was installed and everything continues to work perfectly! I'd highly recommend Elixir as a company, and the team as electricians, and I will definitely be contacting them again for any future services.

Good people to work with rebuilding my enclosed deck and wanted a fan and a bunch of light fixtures they ran all the wires also did many more fixtures inside my home. I recommend them 100% I will sure be using them for future electrical work!

I had the worst service experience with this company. I needed switches replaced, and called them to send a tech. The tech they send was extremely rude, condescending, and had absolutely no interest in his work.When I told this person to leave, he had the audacity to ask for $210. Their tech was too incompetent to even finish the job. He left the switches and lights in our hallway completely nonfunctional. I was charged a total of $360 (because they felt the need to charge a “service fee” before even starting the project). I would recommend staying as far away from these people as possible.

I called Elixir Electrician to install some new outlets in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Their team was very knowledgeable and professional, and they made sure to keep the work area clean throughout the installation process. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of electrical services.

This is the second time I've used Elixir Electrician, and both times they've been fantastic. I had two ceiling fans installed the most current time. The electrician was pleasant and diligent, and he did an excellent job! The pricing are really affordable. I highly recommend them!

It wasn’t easy but I finally got them to come out and finish the job. Took a lot of phone calls and patience. The technician was friendly and quick but that’s about all the positive comments I’ll give out.

Elixir Electricians were efficient, polite and so very nice to work with. They fixed our fountain; installed peripheral outdoor deck lighting and put LED light bulbs in our spots and repositioned them to focus the beams better. I'll most definitely call them again.

Dan is one of the best service techs I have ever had to do work for me. He gave a very reasonable bid and didn't try to upcharge me for unnecessary repairs. He also didn't make me feel stupid when I asked questions and he explained everything he did in language I could understand. He was on time and also did a great job at cleaning up. Will definitely use him and Elixir Electrician again if needed. Wish there were more service techs like him.

Sad to say my own experience was very unlike the other reviews. I called for an appointment and, on the plus side, there were many same-day times available (which maybe should have been a clue). I was quoted a price, and we agreed to the earliest time-slot AFTER insurance info could be provided to my building, which is a requirement.The electrician arrived, but no insurance info was ever provided. He did not fix the problem, only advised me on how to do it myself, and left within a few minutes. I promptly received a call for payment, which was 25% higher than originally agreed. They said that they would discipline the person that gave me the incorrect quote but that there was nothing they could do.Inordinately expensive and unhelpful all around. Prompt, though. Luckily, the work I needed was very minor. Next time, especially for a more complicated job, I'll look elsewhere for help.

The most unprofessional experience I’ve had. They send an extremely rude tech, and charged me $360 for NOTHING. Extremely, extremely unprofessional people and they do not even have the dignity to fix the mess that they’re created. I would recommend staying as far away as possible.

Dan walked me through what would be done and how it would do it. The pricing was fair and was well worth it. He installed a ceiling fan and ran all the electricity needed on my porch to make it possible because there was no existing light to tap into.

Daniel was an absolute magician! He was able to restore power to outlets that I had tried to “fix” myself. Repaired a light fixture and replaced the fluorescent bulbs in my laundry room! Not only was his work amazing but he was professional and incredibly personable! To top it all off, the pricing was extremely reasonable. We had Elixir Electrician come out to our new home a few years ago and had them install lighting fixtures under our deck, a motion sensor light on the front of the deck and on the side of our house, and two outside outlets. Everything was done in no time and I have never had any issues. Installation was clean and timely and I could not be happier with the service and the outcome! I would highly recommend them.
