VERY happy with Drain Doctor of Dallas!! First time using them. Recommended by our plumber. Fast response. Answered phone immediately on Dec.23rd after area wide below freezing temps that night. ( clogged sewer line. Not frozen pipe). Tech was at our home within 90 minutes and very helpful. Unclogged our system within an hour and system was draining again! Would definitely recommend!!

Had to wait a little bit, but the guy that came out to unclog my drain was very polite and knowledgeable. He had me taken care of in 30 min.

They called me back after I left a message the day after Christmas. They were giving me estimates over the phone when usually they should be given once they arrive on location to assess what work needs to be done which is fine, then Jackie started explaining that there’s a $20/hour OT fee that I’d need to pay due to the holiday. I told her it’s the 26th today, and Christmas was yesterday, isn’t today just regular working hours?! She offered me to speak with the owner Charlie to explain the holiday OT charge to me or hopefully waive that fee as a first time customer, especially if I was referred from another plumber “Mo”. Anyways this is how the owner opens up the conversation “Hello my name is Charlie and I’m the owner of the company, and if you got a problem with the $20/hour Holiday OT, you’re more than welcome to find someone else in the metroplex. I’m not going to stay on the phone and argue with you.” I even told him that’s fine, have someone come by today then he said “no I don’t want to.” The. Hangs up. I was actually relieved I got this treatment before I felt any obligation to pay them. And basing this off other reviews I’ve seen for Drain Doctor.

We had a blockage which caused the shower and toilet to overflow when the washer emptied during its cycle! Water went everywhere! I called Drain Dr and they promptly sent out Sergio who was professional, personable, and efficient. He took the time to answer all my questions in depth so I knew exactly what was going. Quick snake on the roof and a plunger to clear the shower’s p-trap and we were good to go. They are our go-to plumbers!

Drain Doctor's offc worked hard to get us help on the Thurs before Christmas when we had the extreme freeze on top of that. So they will try really hard to please wherever possible!Then they sent a guy named Sergio who was WONDERFUL!!! He was very friendly, & went out of his way to make sure we were happy! It turned out whatever drain clog we had was a mystery but also appeared to no longer be a problem either- but Sergio did everything anyone could do to make sure there was nothing he was missing. Further, he seems quite experienced as well because i could tell he knew exactly what to do.Anytime you have a drain clog- call Drain Doctor here in Dallas & altho i'm sure all their people are good- request Sergio if he is available because he is the greatest!??

Sergio from the Drain Doctor arrived promptly and interviewed me regarding the patient's symptoms: incomplete flushes had gradually became complete blockages that were difficult to dislodge.He thoroughly examined the patient, 35yo Kohler Wellworth, then delivered his diagnosis - calcium buildup restricting flow through the siphon jet.Sergio applied vigorous therapeutic treatment to remove the calcium and the patient was cured! Even without insurance the price was reasonable, and I was happy to pay it. Highly recommended

Been using this company over 30 years. They are quick to fix the issue. The price is reasonable for this issue. They are very dependable. Great people!

No frills service, doesn’t seem to up charge.

Horrible. Disgusting owner and very poorly run. Before the plumber came I confirmed no assessment charge on the phone and they sent a plumber out. We had a toilet clogged and they showed up and the plumber did not perform a single service and even advised against trying anything because he was not confident he could fix it. He called his front office with me (on camera) to confirm there was no charge. They did confirm (again all on camera). The plumber left never asking for any payment after confirming. Then I get a phone call from Charles (owner) screaming at me and calling me a liar and that I should be ashamed of myself and how I am a horrible person. Wouldn't even let me get a full sentence in. Would never recommend.

Ramon arrived on time and cleared the sewer line quickly. He was professional and efficient. It was a very reasonable cost for the service. I will use them again when I can't find the source of the obstruction.

Sergio came on a Saturday to clear a line that another plumber told me had grease. He didn’t specialize in that and referred to to Drain Dr. Before him I had F6 plumbing come out and told he had to pull my toilet and came to the conclusion after using a 15ft snake from a clean drain access. Sergio came ran a 75ft snake and it was draining in less than an hour but took the extra time to make sure he pushed it all out. The price was more than fair. This company is good to have in your back pocket. ??

They couldn't help me with my broken water pipe from big freeze because they do not offer that service, but I've used them in the past & found them to be a fantastic company with great employees and, comparatively, VERY reasonable, no surprises *flat pricing,* especially in comparison to other licensed plumbers & companies' I had called for a main/trap cleanout estimate. From my multiple, pain-free experiences with Doctor Drain of Dallas over the years, I very highly recommend them.????

I am a small business. I called out Drain Dr yesterday for a clogged toilet. They ran 100ft of cable and were unable to clear it. They also mentioned there was a lake behind our fence, clearly indicating an issue. They ran another 50 ft and still could not clear it. They then said we should call the City and charged us $296. For an issue they could not fix and after they had seen the lake. City came out and cleared for no charge. I called to discuss with someone as I thought the charge was exorbitant for NOT having fixed anything at all. I was passed to 3 different people, having to retell my issue each time. Ultimately the gentleman I spoke with went on about how much it costs to drive to the facility, spend time there, insurance, etc. I'm a business myself. I don't expect a service for free, but I do expect a plumber to fix an issue OR have a bit of consideration on the charge if they do not fix an issue they were hired to do. I'm certainly willing to pay the service charge to come out, I get that, but when they saw the lake they should have stopped if they knew it was a city issue, not charged me more to run more cable. As a business owner my job is to provide a service. If a client is not pleased or if I'm not able to provide that service, I would absolutely want to accommodate the client within reason. Drain Dr had no interest in doing so and repeatedly told me how much everything costs on their end. Okay. I hear you Drain Dr. I will surely call someone else if needed in the future.

Way more knowledgeable than the other plumbers I've had experience with, they get the job done! And they even told me that because it had been within a year since they last came over, that it was free of charge! Even though it wasn't their fault they had to come back (I had to show proof of their visit and it was the same toilet). I swear I'll never use anyone again. And when I called to schedule something but they were booked for the day- they actually called me back and notified me that someone else canceled so I didn't have to wait until my scheduled appointment the next day- they could do it that day. I thought that was awesome.

Amazing experience!!! They are on speed dial. We will NEVER use any other drain cleaner! Super nice, super professional, and amazing with our kiddos! My daughter wanted to watch And see what was going on (2.5) and they interacted with her. What an amazing company and amazing experiences we have had. Best company I have done business with...hands down!

It's been two years and our drain is still clear! We've had periodic issues with our drain, but no one was able to really, really clear it. That is, until Jose with Drain Doctor showed up. He did an exemplary job, was very professional and very thorough. And then, to be sure, he ran through it again. The price was good, less than I expected for so much work. We are very pleased with Drain Doctor and will call them again if the need were to arise.

Had a clog that a plumber said I needed to install a clean out in my wall for $650... Uh nah. Called a reputable plumber and was recommended to Drain Dr. He said they would come out and do the work and not try to up-sale me which is what they exactly did. Also learned some stuff from the guy. He was quick and friendly.

Highly recommend. We had another company come to the house the day before Drain Doctor. They advertised a $99 cleanout that included a camera check at completion. When they got here the said it would be $640. I thought $99 was too good to be true so we were prepared for it to be more than $99 but $640??!! Drain Doctor came out the next morning and cleared the line for $175. The tech they sent was friendly and professional.

Absolutely perfect service. Phoned 20 minutes before arriving. My drainage had clogged and everything backed up into bathroom. Identified my problem immediately and showed me it was my fault and gave me directions for an easy self fix! Took out his big auger and cleared me out, then wrote me an invoice that was less than half what I expected. ????

Jose was reccomend by my grandfather and plumber friend for simple drainage cleaning. My home was built in 1970 and I felt a drain cleaning was necessary since toilets were flushing slow and Jose got the job done within 30 minutes. I was very pleased with the cost and service! I'd reccomend him 100% for clogged drains.

I called them specifically telling there was a leak in the shower which was on the second floor to a wall on the first floor. They did not say there is a service call fee of $80 and the technician was barely there for a minute (when i say a minute, i mean literally).He looked at the wall on the first floor and says they can’t fix it and charges me $80 as a service call and leaves.

Highly recommended, HONEST AN PROFESSIONAL. I saw their truck a my neighbor's house and asked if he could help me with my toilet that wouldn't drain. He took the time to speak with me and see me right away. The rate was quite reasonable and he also suggestedSave yourself - just call these guys. Thanks very much for helping!

I tried for a few hours to fix the issue myself and to no avail. I decided to call in a pro and found these guys. I called on Sunday evening to get a quote as they state on their website they give over the phone. I reached a live person and after letting them know it was not an emergency was told a call in the morning would happen between 7-8am for the estimate. At 730 they called and gave me the estimate which is when I requested a tech to come out. They said it would be a bit later that morning. About 830am got a call they were on the way. Around 9am the gentleman arrived and asked where the issue was. I explained and he got to work right away. He was able to unclog my upstairs bathroom sink drain (also drain for my A/C unit) and within a very reasonable amount of time got it working. He checked it and made sure the drain was operating at max efficiency which it did. WORKS like a champ now! I was also pleased that the quote given was extremely accurate and they were able to take my credit card. Highly recommend and happy customer here!

Called late morning and Charlie had a tech out Early Afternoon the same day. Courteous tech fast and accurate service . Price was very reasonable.

Once, on a routine job, I used them and got perfectly adequate results. Then, when I had them out to clear out a French drain, they did that well too but tore into my sprinkler system in the process. Aah, but keep reading; there's a happy ending.Fortunately, it was soon obvious that something was wrong, as there was no water pressure in the house, and, upon investigation, water was observed gushing out the end of that drain.They sent out a man(whose name, I'm afraid I've forgotten) to fix what I assumed was their mess. He found that the sprinkler installer had run a line straight through the French drain! They couldn't have missed it; they just didn't want to take the extra few minutes and few dollars to go under it! I thanked him and started turning my mind to getting it done right.Even more amazing than the sprinkler installer's miserable disservice was Drain Doctor's repesentativer's over-the-top excellent service! He said that he wanted to put the problem to bed once and for all, so, without charging extra, he went to the nearby box store, bought what he needed, and quickly repaired the sprinkler! It was downright unfair, but I let him proceed! Anyway, I wanted to give them credit, so here we are.

Did a great job of diagnosing the problem with our slow tub drain and resolving the issue.

Called this place to unclog my pipe where laundry room and to bathroom. I was told $144.50 and if they had to go through the roof it was addiction $50 and if they had to do another line it was $75. They called me and told me they did the laundry I asked if it went through where my kids room was and he said no it would be $75 more but if he couldn’t go there he would go on roof it would be $50. Well he end up doing everything even though he knew he would have to get on the rook. He charged me $295 and if you add those amounts it doesn’t equal at all. I tried to call and talk to them the owner was VERY RUDE!

I would highly recommend this company, and especially the tech that serviced my home! Sergio was polite, professional, explained what he was going to do, what issue he found, and what I should keep an eye out for in the future. I wish there were more people in customer service like Sergio! I commend you for a job well done!!

They couldn't fix my tree root issue, and Yance, the tech, seemed truly sad to break the news. I have a working knowelege of plumbing and he was more than experienced in discussing details and plan of attack.I have used Drain Dr. for two houses and 30+ years. They are Always the Best first call when something stops up. Stellar Business!

Guy was out a few weeks ago & replaced the wax ring for the toilet because it was leaking water. It started leaking water again so we called back Saturday morning. They came that afternoon & reset the toilet with a new wax ring. In addition they cut toilet studs so the stud covers would fit. They charged us nothing. It's really nice to use people who stand behind the work they do. We have used them for 10 years and they always take care of us. I highly recommend them.

The owner of this company is the absolute WORST!!!!! They were supposed to come to my house on Tuesday afternoon. They called me Tuesday afternoon and told me they couldn’t make it that day and that they’d be out at 8:00AM for the first service call of the day. I agreed although I was annoyed Because I had worked my day to be at home and they didn’t call me until 3:30 to tell me this. Fast forward to 8:00AM the next morning and I’m at home waiting for them. I was NEVER told that I needed to answer my phone prior to their arrival in order for them to come. In all my years in dealing with service companies, they have given me a courtesy call 30 min before to let me know they are on their way. But I don’t have to answer! Apparently I missed a phone call from them at 7:30 and when I called back at 8:00AM, I was told they wouldn’t send a technician this morning. Even though I had the time slot and even though they messed up my afternoon the day before. The owner was horribly rude.

The gentleman that they sent out was friendly and professional enough. however charging me nearly $200 for spending an hour to place a snake to see if the drain was clogged was a little excessive. They discovered drain was not clogged and fixing the actual problem was out of their scope. It'll require a actual plumber.Pricing was excessive.

Service tech arrived on time and did and excellent job for what was one serious clog. He had to use two different snake machines and worked on the issue longer than expected. When completed, was still billed the same amount quoted over the phone. Will use them for any future drain problems.

I had a bad drainage issue due to roots in my main line going out to the city line. I called and was given a quote over the phone for what it would cost to run an auger through the line and what it would be if the line had to be accessed from a vent on the roof. The serviceman Steve came out and had to run the auger through the roof, but that didn't completely fix the problem. He then proceeded to run two different sized augers through four different access points till everything was draining right. He spent over 2 1/2 hours making sure the job was done right, and instead of raising the price for the extra work that was required, he gave me a $10 discount because I'm disabled. The total came out to $164.50, which is a fraction of what most plumbing companies charge for a 2 1/2 to 3 hour job. I highly recommend Drain Doctor.

Came early for appointment. Tried 2 other rooter plumbers before them and neither could clear our clog. Technician got it done quickly and efficiently. Will use again!

If i could give a zero i would, i called around 3:30, set apt for them to come and unclog kitchen drain. Waited n waited and called at 6 pm too check when they were coming because they close at 7 and was told im sorry they are busy and cant come, can we come tomorrow. I advised no i work from home and was not able to to be available tomorrow. First time calling and will be the last, they gave no notice i had to find someone that would come after hr and extra charge......DONT USE!!!
