Had a brass check valve leading to my sediment filter for the water softener start leaking. Didn't notice it until water seeped through into he laundry room on a Friday evening. Called AHS and they responded that someone would contact us Monday. Couldn't wait that long so I bought a new filter of the same type but could not find a brass check valve only PVC. Reused the old one after cleaning it up but did not like putting it back in. ASAP was dispatched the following Tuesday and Moses paid me a visit. Upon exiting his truck, he informed me that the repair would never be covered by AHS as he has seen this for the 12 years he has been doing this. This of course would be a self fulfilling prophecy as surely he would write it up in such a way that it certainly would not be covered. Then he looked under the access plate near the water meter and told me that there was no PRV and that no contractor would work on my system without one. He didn't bother to ask me if there was one inside the home, which there is, so I didn't tell him. If he drove all the way out here to waste my time, I didn't see any harm in wasting his. I asked what would be a maximum water pressure and he told me nothing over 80 is allowed. He went around the side of the house and hooked up to an outside hose connection. Came back and told me it was 85 psi and that a PRV was absolutely necessary. Next he looked at my filter which was why I called him in the first place. He said the filter was undersized and that they sold ones that were twice that long. I told him the water pressure seemed fine and along with the carbon filters that I used, the water taste good as well. He looked at my water softener and said you can buy those at Lowes. I asked if that was bad. He said they didn't work well and that the desiccant blows up and fills the home plumbing which costs a fortune to clean out. He said that I needed one of their water softeners. When asked what brand he hesitated then said some brand name I've never heard of. Probably not a salt softener which I wouldn't own anyhow. He did guess that me hot water surge tank diaphragm might be bad. I checked it and it was. Oddly, I don't think he even quoted replacing that but I replaced it later that evening for $41 from the evil Lowes. Next he asked to go inside and check my water. He put some small volume in a test bottle and added some activator. The water turned light brown and he said it wouldn't be that color if my water softener were working. No other information on hardness or test explanation at all.I was a Naval Nuclear power Engineer for 8 years and have spent the last 32 years as a Hydraulic Systems Engineer for a fortune 150 fluid power components manufacturer and hold U.S. patents in hydraulic component designs.AHS send folks like these out to shoot down any claim and then the salesman, masquerading as a technician, does his schtick to (hopefully) unsuspecting people. I was told a gaggle of out right lies and some erroneous facts just out of ignorance. I maintain my water system regularly and our water softener is one of the most highly recommended units by multiple consumer appliance reviewers including Consumer Affairs. I asked to have a $40 check valve replaced since he had come all the way out here and was quoted $3600+ for a water softener, PRV, new filter and various other things that are in perfect working condition. My water pressure outside has always been 77 PSI not 85 and I test my water monthly for hardness. I found this a little funny at the time at how foolish this young man is but then I think of folks that don't know any better and fall prey to these types of predatory sales tactics. Eli called me after my wife left a bad review that they had sent as a follow-up to their service call. He left me a message that he was surprised. I called him back to explain what his technician had done but he was out and his secretary said that he would return my call which never happened. Caveat Emptor.

ASAP Plumbing replaced my gas hot water heater through American Home Shield warranty coverage. They arrived on time to diagnose the problem and two days later to replace the unit. The technicians were courteous and professional and called 30mins prior to their arrive and within the first part of their estimated time.

ASAP Plumbing came to my house to fix a simple leak in my ceiling, manifold was leaking in one of the joints. They came to the house via my AHS insurance. I had read some of their bad reviews and how they try to look for other things to add to their bill and things the insurance won’t pay. I was ready for them. Sure enough they came looked at the leak, went to the garage and looked around my water heater and said my water pressure was too high and that it needed to be lowered to city standard. They said they needed to do some “modifications”. They were going to charge me $500+ for the leak and $900+ to lower my water pressure. All of this would be out of pocket. I told “Mike” the plumber to leave my house immediately and to not touch anything in my house. Called AHS and told them to send me another company at no additional charge. They sent me another company, a plumber named Scott came out, looked at the leak and said, “that shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to fix.” Job was done and no out of pocket expenses. DO NOT EVER LET ASAP PLUMBING COME INTO YOUR HOUSE.! They will scam you, for sure.!

ASAP came out to my house as a part of my Home warranty Company “AHS” to repair a leak at my Tub Valve that had leaked under my Tub. Technician came out and secretly went to my garage and shut off the water to that valve at the Pex Manabloc and then fabricated a story that my tub valve wasn’t getting any water and needed to be replaced along with the Moen Carthridge and Handle. I called a licensed Master Plumber friend out and he replaced the Moen 1225 Cartridge and the leak was fixed. ASAP wanted to charge me $500 based on a fraudulent claim my valve was bad. I paid my plumber $175 to fix the issue. Stay away from this company if you want honest work done. My guess is they don’t make any money through home warranty if they don’t lie and fabricate plumbing issues. I’ll be turning them in to the Texas Board of Plumbing Examiners along with evidence they sent a unlicensed plumber to my house.

Amando the plumber that was sent was very professional. Great people skills and took his time explaining the problem and also told me how to prevent this from happening again. This is not the first time I use this company and I always have a great experience with this company. I would recommend this company to anyone that has plumbing problems.

Referred to them by home warranty company. Terrible service - nobody who answers a phone has any idea of what is going on and they have to refer to the mysterious supervisor (who can never speak on the phone or is available). Was charge $675.00 for an access charge and told that they would be back the next day to remove the siding on the back of the house in a manner in which it could be reinstalled with no problem. Instead, two guys showed up two days later (because someone forgot to put me on the schedule and just took a saw to the siding - pictures attached. Now, not surprisingly, I cannot get anyone on the phone to give me a straight answer as to why this cost $675.00 (when it took 5 minutes to cut and won't send anyone to come replace it.Do not use!!! Find someone better - do not waste your time.

We got home from vacation on a Sunday only to discover a leak outside, I called and within 15 minutes Jason had contacted me to let me know he was on the way. Jason found the problem quickly and repaired it very well. Price was less than I was expecting. This is the 4th time i have used ASAP and I always recommend them to my friends who are in need of plumbing repairs. Top notch quality on all their repair work. Professional technicians every time.

We were going to be forced to use this company via Fidelity Home Warranty. They sent someone out to our home to look at our toilet that had been leaking. They quoted $695 in charges not covered by Fidelity. Long story short we didn't end up having to use them but were able to get quotes from 2 other plumbing companies who both said the services would be covered by Fidelity, that the toilet just needed new wax sealant, and not a new flange plus the other stuff ASAP Plumbing said we would need. Let me reiterate, 2 other companies. I was shocked. Our expense went from $695 (didn't include toilet or install) to $150 for toilet install only because we requested it from the new plumbing company. Very sad to see so many companies scam people who just don't know any better than to listen to them. You'd think a company being sent out by a home warranty company would be reputable but that's not always the case. I see on google reviews they only have a 3.5 out of 124 reviews.

ASAP was given the repair contract from American Home Shield on two of my homes. The plumbers are great, they are very good at what they do and replaced the heaters in both homes and brought them up to code. What they lack is their customer service and office communication. There appears to be just two people running the office, one that takes calls and the other that schedules the plumbing service. Although I'm happy with the repair provided, no leaks, and both places are great, I'm disappointed from the customer service/communication point of view.

This company is the worst at speaking to customers. We called because the valve under the sink wont close all the way and is leaking. The technician came out and also found our faucet is leaking. The technician only reported the faucet and not the valve. They want us to have them come back out to inspect what they originally came out to inspect instead of speaking with the technician to get clarification on his report. Its been extremely difficult to get anything resolved and even more difficult to have a civil conversation. Christina is short tempered and rude, and while Eric was able to maintain a professional conversation, it was like talking to a wall. After a google search we found that they lost their BBB rating this year and have the worst reviews. Avoid the headaches and stay away from them. We are going with another contractor.

Our technician gave us a courtesy call to let us know he was on the way to our home. He arrived and quickly repaired the leak in our kitchen. Vincent was professional, efficient and thorough. I'd had a previous visit from a different technician from ASAP Plumbing on/around 6/2021 that I was completely unhappy with. Vincent managed to turn the whole experience around. I would highly recommend this company and specifically this technician.

Service was part of a home warranty/home insurance related issue. I submitted a home warranty claim for a plumbing leak. The plumber from ASAP Plumbing evaluated the leak, he stated that the leak was from the AC, but miraculously found additional leaks outside the foundation that was not covered by the home warranty, because they were outside the foundation of the house. Which of course, I had to pay out of pocket, on a fixed income. Of course, on a $800 bill, they did knock off $50, which is less than the 10% many companies offer as a military veteran/retiree/disabled veteran. The leak issues ended up being transferred to an AC conditioning company, which was not any more professional. These companies who work for the home warranty companies seem to want to save as much money as possible for them, even as the cost of the customer who rely of their integrity, honesty and professionalism.Be careful as the technicians, or at least the one I encountered is well versed in making the situation seem much more dire than it really is. You know, the one that you have to pay for out of pocket. However, the one that is covered by the warranty company is never as dire. For the record, there was no more leaks after they performed their work, but since they transferred it to the AC company, much of the work needed to assess the damage is not covered by my homeowners policy. Not to mention the fact that their work stopped the leak, not the fact that the AC company did absolutely nothing because there was no leak when they came 4 days later. As you can see, their ratings are poor and if I had researched them prior to accepting them from the warranty company, I would have requested another company.

The office manager called and tried to argue with me, raised his voice and accused me of lying. As you can see from other reviews, home warranty companies are using this company but if you call the home warranty company they will cover the issues.Outside of AHS or other home warranty companies the organization may be great, but the aggressiveness and level of vitriolic behavior from the office manager over a bad review portrays everything you need to know about my review.

This company was sub contracted out by American Home Shield to repair a leak in my kitchen sink. The initial contact went well. The repair technician found two leaks, dishwasher pipe and my faucet fixture. The technician left to purchase a part needed to repair the leak with the dishwasher and completed that successfully. He advised that he would need to order the faucet due to the contract guidelines and would be back once it came in to replace. He also put in request to have water damage restoration company come for a quote. Fast forward a week later without a working sink and no water to the kitchen, ASAP plumbing contacted me when faucet came and said they would be in next day to install. The following morning....same day as expected repair, the technician called and stated he was looking at pictures taken during the initial repair and noticed I have an RO system(water purifier) that would require a modification with the new faucet and it would cost me $225 out of pocket to install. I was at a complete loss and caught off guard. I was never told of any potential modifications during the first visit and was expected to pay same day to get it fixed/installed!! I asked them if it was possible that the initial plumber made a mistake in ordering the wrong faucet because the original didn't require any modifications. It literally was connecting the hoses and that's it. I'm not an expert or professional but I know it didn't require drilling as they stated would be needed justifying the $225. I kept trying to get them to call me to help me understand the modification. A representative called me and rudely said that it was needed and in order for the technician to be dispatched I needed to pay half of the modification over the phone. I declined so i could speak with my warranty service about the situation and he rudely hung up. I received a text that the job had been completed. I had a handyman fix my leak. The faucet fixture was purchased at Home Depot for $69 and installed in 30 minutes.......no modification was needed. I will never use ASAP plumbing again nor will I refer. I have also reported them to AHS as they are charging unnecessary outrageous fees to their customers. Shame on you ASAP plumbing!!

I would like to add to the GREAT service that I received from ASAP plumbing. I had company coming over this weekend and my kitchen sink broke, plus to add to the problem I own six dogs and water is essential to all of us in the house. well I called my home warranty company and they sent ASAP Plumbing and I’m so glad that they did. when asap plumbing comes to your house and can’t fix the problem it isn’t because of asap plumbing it is always the darn home warranty company . home warranty company’s suck, most of them, so forget the warranty co and find a good one. long story short is asap Eli the owner and Chrystal, and Trevor did over and beyond duty to help and they fixed my sink the very next day much love you don’t get response like that anymore thank you again asp plumbing much love and much gratitude to the technician Michael.

Very impressed by the service provided by Asap Plumbing Service #2. I have to admit I was somewhat apprehensive when we were assigned this company by our home warranty company (AHS) because of some of the negative reviews online. That said, I'm glad we gave them a chance and they certainly delivered. I received a phone call the morning after making the claim (through AHS). The representative was polite and respectful and informed me they could be out between 10-6 the following day. The next morning I received regular updates (excellent communication) and Ray arrived around 10. He was very professional/knowledgeable and the issue was resolved in less than an hour without any additional costs. Thank you Asap for a positive experience from start to finish!

Placed a report with Fidelity Home Warranty. They chose ASAP to perform the work. Reported the issue in January, it is now June and it is still not complete. This is a result of inexperienced plumber and staff that will not return phone calls. The individual that showed up was inexperienced. Spent the entire time facetiming someone else to diagnose the problem. They told me they would send a more experienced plumber for the last visit, because the original plumber was not as experienced, then sent the original plumber. Our experience was consistent with other reviews about them lying about code and repairs to charge more.

Sink was backing up, so we had them come out. Rooter did not work, so they were supposed to call and bring out a camera. Weeks later finally came out. Said pipe was collapsed. Since they had the camera I requested they check the main pipe outside because of the standing water in the main pipe outside. Something isn't right if there is also standing water in the main pipe. It's right outside my office window. The guy lied and said he checked it. He didn't .Since the person was already there, why not be thorough, right? If a pipe in another part of the house has collapsed, and the main pipe out to the street has standing water, and hasn't rolled out to the street, something is wrong. I am not a plumber and I can tell you that. We will call someone else. If you are looking for the best, they are not it. If you want subpar work that may have to be redone later, call the office and they pick up several times and hang up the line-no hello, please hold, if you are looking to be lied to, if you are looking for an appointment that may take weeks, then this is your company. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Read the bad reviews. Good reviews can be hyped.

I used ASAP plumbing for a routine leak (with American Home Shield). The plumber came out initially and made this pinhole leak seem like it may cause a full reroute of plumbing because the leak was so close to the wall stud. The job would cost $375 for this modification. A couple of days later a plumber came to fix the leak. I asked are you going to make a modification because it is so close to the stud. He said no I am just replacing the line. I watched it was a quick routine job. Because I complained he called the office. Then all of a sudden the job was called a modification. I called the office and the person on the phone said rudely you signed the paperwork. American Home Shield paid the company for parts and labor. They worked for less than 20 minutes. I called American Home Shield and was read what the plumber stated. I am waiting for a call back from the escalation department. The plumber said the company would knock off $100. I am not finished with this issue. This company is using the home warranty company to scam customers. I will update my review if this is properly resolved.

Like some of the other reviewers of this company they were referred by our home warranty company. They were called to fix 2 leaking faucets. Their visit turned out to be a too high water pressure issue that was not true. Especially since I had just had a brand new PRV placed 2 weeks prior by a different company initially...and both the initial installer and I rechecked my PSI with my and their meters. A third company was sent out to my home by the warranty company for a second opinion....The 3rd company also checked my water pressure and stated that the pressure was fine and repaired the faucets. ASAP ended up coming to my home doing absolutely nothing but asking other nosey questions like how much did you pay for the PRV and how much for the water softener that was brand new etc...... This 2nd opinion company asked me Was it by chance ASAP plumbing that came out the 2nd time and I said yes, how did you know? And the guy just smirked and said we've had a few follow up appointments behind them for some of the same issues. That truly says alot..... Read those reviews people !!!

My warranty company (AHS)assigned this company to service my property. I was informed that we could reach out to schedule an appointment or wait for them to reach out. Shortly there after we received an email verifying the plumbing company (ASAP) would service our property. My husband went ahead and reached out & was told by Eric that he could not help him until he received a service order from AHS & that he would give him a phone call in 1 hour. That was around 12pm. We never received that call, instead we received an email from the warranty company at 7:15pm, stating that we had been reassigned to an alternate plumbing company. ASAP waited all day to reassign our property. We have been without hot water for 2 days. The second plumbing company, however, took the time to speak to my husband at 730pm & discuss what the issue was so that they would have a better idea of the problem they would be walking into tomorrow. They didn't put him off, why? Because THAT'S GOOD BUSINESS. If you know you hold a major contract with a home warranty company, you should treat those customers just as important as any other customer. I will be filing a complaint with my warranty company & if this issue is not rectified I will be looking into switching my warranty company.

I was so devastated when American home shield assigned them to us. I had read the reviews here on Google.. So I was so worried. My hot water heater had busted.ASAP plumbing service replaced it at a fraction of what the private companies I had quoted. Despite the horrible reviews on here I thought they did a really good job. They replace the hot water heater for months ago now.

My home warranty sent them out. When they came out their estimate was insane. They were quoting us over $1800 out of pocket above and beyond the warranty coverage. It seemed like a padded bill to me. I contacted 2 other plumbers and got quotes well below theirs even without going through the warranty company. When I read other reviews I saw there were several people who had the same experience. We have small children so being without hot water for several days is out of the question. I felt like he knew we were desperate to get it done before the weekend and he took advantage. When I gave him pushback on the price he basically told me I could go somewhere else if I wanted. He panicked me that it would take a week to get a new hot water heater installed if we chose to shop around. It was an awful experience and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. After reading the other reviews I'm glad I went elsewhere.

This company is a scam and shady!!! I had a water leak that was over a holiday weekend. It was so substantial we had to turn the water off. They finally contacted me on Tuesday. They offered Thursday. They called me 5 times to confirm the appointment. Once at the house I was told the space under my PEIR and BEAM wasn’t OSHA compliant for access. Sadly after research there is no such OSHA requirement. We offered to remove skirting to make it more assessable and the plumber declined. He closed the ticket, took my service call money and left! Totally unprofessional!!!

Jonathan is THE. BOMB. Another plumbing company quoted us a huge amount so we called in ASAP to get a second opinion. Not only did he fix the issues for HALF the price, he recognized that one of the solutions the previous plumber had given (for a quote of $975) wouldn’t have even fixed the issues. Truly amazing service by him, Travis, and Beto!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

American Home Shield warranty company out in work order for ASAP Plumbing Service#2. The lady from ASAP called me to schedule the appointment. She was very rude and did not show that she cared at all about me being a customer. She even laughed at me and hung up when I requested her to have the owner call me back. She acting as if I was bothering her on Saturday while she called me to schedule the appointment. In the end I contacted AHS and they cancelled that request and put me in contact with another plumbing vendor. The next lady that called me was super polite and I have an appointment scheduled for the work order. Customer service is first when I deal with a business. ASAP lost my business and maybe more because someone else will see this review and other reviews and think twice about using this company. If you want decent customer service look elsewhere.

AHS scheduled this company to provide work on whirlpool tub. They were scheduled to arrive between 10-6 with a 30 minute call prior to arriving. I waited all day for technician with no call and finally called them at 5:35. I was told that the technician was running behind. Mind you the 30 minute window had already been busted by the time I called. I was given no update at all. And then told they didn't know when the technician would be done but again I would get a 30 minute window. What a joke of a company. So after trying to get in touch with American Home Shield to report this and find another contractor; I gave up the next morning and called ASAP Plumbing back to just reschedule because I have already paid the service call fee and really want the problem with my tub fixed.I was met with a rude young woman, Christina or Tina I think was her name. If this is how they treat their customers, go somewhere else. You don't need the headache. After reading all the other complaints, they have thwarted me from having an even bigger problem by making the problem worse. Ridiculous customer service!

I had American Home Shield as a Home Warranty Company which i paid $100 deductible and they sent ASAP Plumbing to unstop the clog in my kitchen sink. I was told the clog was over 50ft and they would have to put a camera down the pipe and it was gonna be $189.00 and AHS did not cover it. I decided to call a plumber and get a second opinion myself, well it turns out the stoppage was only 35 feet and he unstopped it in less than 30 minutes. Both Companies lost a customer!! I only gave it a 1 star because it would not let me submit this.

We called them to check the plumbing inside of the house and they sent someone named Mike, who was very unprofessional and didn't come to work at all. We were quoted $150. When he arrived, I informed him that we had already checked the septic line with a snake and let him know where he needed to check. He checked the same part of the septic line we had already checked and told us there was no blockage there, which I had already told him. He refused to check the inside line, which we initially called him for. He eventually agreed to check it, but only at a cost of an additional $225. He also tried to blame it on the septic tank being full, and then on the line not being straight, both of which he did not verify. We contacted the septic cleaners and they confirmed that the tank is not full because their records show that it is a 1500 gallon tank that they pumped a year ago, and they would not recommend pumping it again. If you use their service and you see Mike listed as the plumber coming out, you may want to request someone else... Mind you, the original appointment was for yesterday. They never showed up and never called. They rescheduled for this morning after I called them last night, after waiting all day.

ASAP did a tremendous job for my toilet issues. The technician, Vincent, was very professional and diagnosed the problem quickly. A previous company was not even close to the correct diagnosis, and wanted to charge an exorbitant amount to do essentially nothing. ASAP plumbing staff kept me informed of the progress throughout the repair. Additionally, the technician called the specified 30 minutes in advance and was on time and close to the estimated time to repair. I highly recommend ASAP Plumbing for your plumbing and plumbing-related concerns.

Assigned to ASAP Plumbing by my home warranty. Time window as mentioned in the other comments it way too wide. The first technician who came out was able to diagnose the issue relatively quickly and gave me a quote. He was not pushy and left it up to me to decide whether I wanted them to come back but of course I went ahead and let them because the work needed to get done. They came back the following week and completed the service. When I called the office to ask about the other half of the payment and discuss the work done, the lady who answers the phone was very rude for completely no reason because I was not asking anything hard. Must be a family friend or relative because I’m not sure how she still has a job working with customers the way she does. Zeus Plumbing had to come out to fix the work ASAP didn’t complete. I also believe that I was over charged for the service considering it took less than 15 minutes of labor and the parts were inexpensive. If Fidelity recommends ASAP, I definitely think you should ask to be switched to Zeus Plumbing.

This company came out through American Home Shield, the are telling my my installation is not up to code and it is going to cost me nearly $800 to install the covered water heater with the warranty coverage. What they did not know is i did plumbing for 9 years, it was all up to code, we got a second opinion and they came out and I was right. No out of pocket with the second company from AHS. Watch out, they want to collect from the homeowner and AHS warranty.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. As with others, this was a company used by my home warranty service. Every plumbing issue I've had has been sent to this company. They wanted to charge me $6000 to put in a new gas line saying this is what I need for a gas tankless water heater to stop throwing an error...it had worked fine for years. Called another company and it was a $10 valve that needed to be replaced. Next issue...rumbling in the water heater...loud rumbling, like a freight train is coming through my house...because it wasn't throwing an error, was told there was nothing they could do.Latest issue...opened a ticket with my home warranty company that went to ASAP on 2/13. Got a call asking for the issue, told them the issue. It's now 2/25, and they've never been out to fix anything. Said they left me multiple voicemails...I keep all voicemails...and they have NEVER called. Then said that the home warranty company canceled the request - verified it was NOT canceled - called them back (they miraculously found the request) and they then told me it would be 3/16 before they could come out. They also said if they didn't have enough work in my area, they wouldn't even come out then. I called my home warranty company immediately and told them to assign this to another company. I would rather pay out of pocket to another company than to deal with ASAP.HORRIBLE customer service. Lack of knowledge and expertise with gas tankless water heaters. Will not service areas in their actual service area if they don't have enough work for the day. I will NEVER use this company again.

ASAP Plumbing was assigned by AHS to fix a leak under my bathroom sink. I was called quickly to set up appt.- Vincent came out - said it was an internal leak from the faucet and the company would get AHS for a replacement faucet. Within a few days, Armando came and replaced the faucet. All communication was good from the calls from Eric to let me know when technicians would arrive.

Terrible service. Our home warranty company recommended them to us and we want to warn you. DO NOT DO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. We learned our lesson as new homeowners. They lied about needing to “special order a part that was going to cost $325 dlls and they used some $ 40 valves to fix the problem. OVERPRICED. Frond desk is rude. Techs lied and said they had ordered and overnighted the “special part” and even the day of the installation they said they received the special manabloc and when i asked them to show it to me they said they were going to fix it a different way (with$40 dlls valves). Have spoken with multiple people at the office and they refuse to be honest about the charges. They LIED for a week and a half. Even the manager lied. Check your invoices and make sure they write every detail on the invoice if you do business with them. The manager was too scared to speak with us. If you pay an advance they take your cc info and charge you for the rest w/o letting you know and w/o sending you an invoice. We called our home restoration company and home warranty and have explained this and asked them to NEVER recommend them again. It also took 1 1/2 weeks to repair a leak. We don’t want anyone else to go through this again. Please search elsewhere. I wish we saw the reviews ahead of time.

ASAP was contracted by American Home Shield (AHS) to service our whirlpool tub and they accepted the service contract. Was I was given their name/number for service I called them to make sure they would be here on 16 Mar and if the arrival window could be narrowed. They said it was a 10am -6pm window, but they would call the morning of and narrow it to 4 hours. They never called...I called them 4 times for updates and at 4pm they cancelled (we waited around all day to be blown off). They then rescheduled for 22 Mar (a week later) with the same window. I called and they said that was the best they could do ie., they messed up, didn't keep their word on communications, didn't attempt to satisfy the missed appointment in a timely manner ---- terrible customer service or even caring about a customer). AHS called them and ASAP told them they didn't service our area any more (we live 35 mins from their office and serving our area is normal for most San Antonio companies). So not only is this company poor at customer service and communications but when they mess up and then quit. If you have a job you care about, you should never call this company - they surely won't care about you.

Customer service has a lot to be desired, since being told many different things to resolve a leak and where it is, what to do next, and how rude the receptionist was, I was lucky. No work had been started, so I was able to contact a different plumber, and had a wonderful experience. My water issue is now on it's way to being resolved and I feel like a valued customer, glad I had the option to change to someone else!

Beware: 1 star is too much. Worst plumbing company my home warranty has ever sent out. The office manager, Belinda, is rude, talks over you, won't listen. Travis, the tech's supervisor, who never stepped foot on my job, told the warranty company the covered repair (a corroded pipe at the manifold) was a pipe modification which misled the home warranty to deny coverage. Travis and Julio, the parts manager, each said they would call the warranty to clear up the confusion and call me back. Neither did. Ten days later, I still have the leak and a 12 hole in my dining room wall.

Was referred to this company via AHS warranty after our water heater busted. They scheduled us 8 days out which was long, but since it is under warranty, we held out. On the day of the appt that was scheduled in the morning between 8 and 11, no one showed up. I called a little after 11 and they said the appt was moved to 2-5 in the afternoon. I asked if anyone was going to call me if for any reason it changed and they said yes, even though they didn't the first time. Of course, 4:30 comes around and I call again and they say the plumber is on another job, has one more house then I am next. I asked if he was going to make it given they say they stop at 5. They said we don't know, as long as it's not late, but wouldn't give me a definition of 'late'. So of course I sit around waiting for this company that never bothered to call me at all and to my surprise they don't show up and don't bother to call me to tell me they are not showing up. If a company can't even pick up the phone or show up on the day they are scheduled to... I highly doubt they have any actual plumbing skills in the first place.

Sadly this plumbing company was recommended by our home warranty. The technician was very friendly. Unfortunately what started as small problem has landslid into a huge disaster. The technician said he replaced the tub diverter. He did not. He used our same broken one which began to leak again as soon as he left. The biggest catastrophe was in the second bathroom. He went to look at a possible leak in shower. There was no obvious leak. He said the shower lever was loose. He said he needed to tighten it. An hour and half later, the entire shower valve was broken. He claimed that it needed a new cartilage and sometimes the shower valve will break. Of course he didnt have the replacement. Then he had to CUT OUR PIPES!!! He did not explain that was what was happening. He left and provided an invoice stating that I needed a new shower valve. We agreed to have him order and return to replace it. A month later, our shower is still broken. The company refuses to fix unless we pay more money. We have asked for a detailed bill. They refuse. The owner will not take responsibility for the error that was made. It was a irregular leak. That has blown up into a broken shower and a horrible company that refuses to fix their error. Zero stars. 1 bc at least the technician was nice

Would not get part from Loews or Home Depot “claimed there quality not good” (seriously) anyway been without water, dishwasher, sink since Wednesday.?they really need to change name to “Be There When We Can “...why do we have Home owners Insurance???very sad ? oh by the way they back Monday between 9am and 3 pm...another day to hold my breath. What really sucks is that we have no choice on who we can pick when we need a good plumber. Our insurance dictates who they have a contract with. UGH!

This company was sent out through American Home Shield to find and repair a leak at our house. They gave false information on osha requirements which I later found out after further investigation to be false. The front office couldn’t give me a straight answer when I called and eventually ended with them hanging up on me. After reading the reviews on this place I can see this is a common occurrence. I’m glad they didn’t make any repairs and don’t recommend using them.

My home warranty contacted ASAP plumbing for a service call. Once Mike the technician arrived he immediately said that the plumbing leak was not caused by normal wear and tear, therefore was not able to get the go ahead from my home warranty to fix the problem. But he could do the work for 1300.00. We paid 15.00 for parts and it took one hour to fix the problem yet the so called professional wanted 1300.00. Make sure to get a second opinion when dealing with ASAP plumbing in San Antonio, Texas.

Reached out to this company through American Home Shield. They did not call to set up an appointment and the update on my AHS account said that they were unable to get a hold of me. I reached out to them twice on a Monday. The phone interaction was nothing special. The customer service wasn't there. Awesome service! We had a service window of between 9 AM - 3 PM, which would have been a bummer had it not been for ASAP's dispatch team calling and providing updates along the way. Ray showed up at @ 12:30 and immediately recognized that the leaky sink was actually a broken garbage disposal. He made the administrative update on his end, finished the replacement, and was in and out within about 30 minutes. Ray was very friendly and knowledgable, and I'd be happy to have him as our service technician again in the future (but hopefully not too soon)!

Several weeks ago, I woke up to standing water in our kitchen. Panic set in when I realized we had leak in the kitchen island. My regular plumber wasn't available, so my wife and I took a chance with ASAP. They came out right away and determined we had a leak in the slab. OUCH! There was 3 of standing water inside the free standing island. Gibby, the plumber, was able to shut off the water supply to the island so we could resume using water. After we had restoration complete, ASAP came back out to repair the leak. I was anticipating having to tear into the foundation to repair (an expensive proposition!), but Gibby thought he could fix it without having to do that. He persisted and came through with a solution that repaired the leak and prevented major damage and repair to our kitchen. Thank God for Gibby and ASAP! Can't recommend them enough!

American Homesheild sent them to unclog a sink service. I paid $100 deductible and they did not do anything. The said I needed a new cleaning port and it would be $900. I thought that was odd because I had just had my kitchen remodeled last year and all plumbing was updated. I said no, asked for a 2nd opinion from my plumber and he charged me $55 and unclogged the plumbing in less then 30 min. These people tried to commit insurance fraud... DO NOT TRUST!

1. The plumber who showed does not even know how to do manual bypass of a touchless faucet. I was able to do it myself even though I have no clue of such things.2. Either the warranty company or the ASNAP will not refund me even up to the value of builder grade faucet. So everytime you have a furniture that has to be replaced by home warranty company, they will replace it will cheap quality builder grade and you have to shell out of your pocket extra to have same quality product installed. What's wrong with ASNAP in this case? Home warranty pays them atleast for the builder grade but they will not refund us even that even when you are ready to pay the extra to get the current quality.

BEWARE! I came in to contact with ASAP #2 though AHS (American Home Warranty) and I'm guessing that AHS is the only reason they are still in business. I didn't go into this visit without checking ratings first and I had checked various sites and the BBB.I had a toilet that was belching up bubbles and I needed to have it serviced. They came out and diagnosed it as hard water build up in the air flow vents of our old toilet, because otherwise it would drain properly and there was no clog. However, they started going on about the fact that my water pressure was too high and we needed to have a water pressure regulator installed before they could do the work. I was handed a piece of paper that added up to $698 worth of work. I went and talked with all my neighbors and we all have the same high water pressure and none of us have the water pressure regulators. It should also be said that I have another toilet in my house that is directly behind that one and it has been working just fine, so if this was an issue due to high water pressure then my other toilet would be having issues and so would my neighbors. It's South Texas and we have hard water, but now AHS won't pay to have my toilet replaced until the water pressure regulator is installed thanks to this company trying to make extra money. This company is out there trying to scam money out of people. My advice is #1 stay away from this company and #2 don't use AHS.

ASAP Plumbing was recommended/used by our home warranty company. They were used for a new water heater. First thing they did was install a cheaper water heater then the one that was given by the company. I could get over that, but we have been having issues with our hot water and losing the heat throughout the house so we started to investigate. Upon a simple removal of the metal plate that has the power connection for the water heater underneath it, we found this. My husband tries to move a wire to take a look at it and it was sending sparks everywhere. The entire thing has been burning and melting wires and was connected together using some tape and did not have the proper equipment inside of it to keep these wires safe. If we had not of found this, I may not have been here much longer. This is something that would have resulted in a fire. This is my first stop. Next I will be contact the American Home Warranty company and then after that the business bureau and the city inspector. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They cut corners and are not doing a job that you want in your home. I’m just glad we knew someone that could take a look at this for us. We got really lucky.

We had a severely clogged drain and after the technician, Vincent, arrived, within an hour, it was clear. Just what we wanted. Job done.

The girl at the front desk who takes the calls talks to me as if she is doing me a favor. Customer service is terrible. The name of this establishment should be changed from ASAP to Slow&Dull Plumbing services

Call any other plumber in town. Said I needed $1300 in code upgrades. A reputable plumber said no I didn't. Enough said.

TL;DR: Buyer beware—the negative reviews exist for a reason. In my case, I needed a shower spout repair that turned into a shower spout replacement. They technically replaced it and got the shower running again, so I will give them a star for that. However, the final result was slapdash, sloppy, and dare I say, lazy:1. The original spout was removed recklessly (see photo for damage);2. They did not bother to seal the new spout with caulk to protect it from future corrosion & damage (basic plumbing);3. They were not careful with their work area & blowtorch, so they melted bottles in the shower (photo); and4. They left debris throughout, including, I later learned, down the drain.(Additionally, the shower head stopped working immediately after their visit, so I'm now going through diagnosing what they might have done to cause it, or if it's just poor coincidence. Either way, I now have to replace the shower head as well.)So, instead of what should have been a contained, easy spout installation to save me time and effort, I have now had to:1. Make multiple back-and-forth calls to rectify the situation, which has yet to go anywhere despite emailing evidence at their request. I have had to move on. (Just a head's up: they will frequently call you but have it go straight to voicemail so you don't get to see or hear that they're even calling you);2. Spend additional money, time, and effort sealing the spout myself;3. Spend additional money, time, and effort unclogging their debris from the drain;4. Spend additional money, time, and effort replacing the shower head that no longer works as of their visit (which may or may not be directly related). In summary, if you're in a desperate scenario; do not care if the work is done correctly & with basic consideration; and you need a very temporary & tenuous fix: hire with caution. And your own caulk.
