2nd Opinion Plumbing Service LLC.

Called out from a request we made through our home warranty company and will never use them again! They did not use booties when coming into our home, which should be required when stepping into someone’s home with their outside shoes especially due to COVID. They left footprints in our shower and on the wall, also left dirt on the floor. I was told the owner of the company himself came out to make the repair which is shocking for the owner of the company to leave a customer’s home this way. Very unprofessional! Do not recommend!!

Not sure why this company is getting beat up in the reviews, I had a very pleasant experience with them. John came out to do the initial inspection. He was a no-nonsense type guy that wasted no time with the solution and billing info. Andrea did a great job communicating with me on scheduling via phone calls and text. Jose was the tech they sent to install and he was punctual, pleasant, and did a great job. He even cleaned up very well even though I told him I would do it. He left 30 min ago and I already have hot water. A+ in my opinion

The most terrible and unprofessional service I’ve ever received in my life, they are very unresponsive as well and do not get back to you when you ask them something.. it’s like talking to a wall.

Man! What a blessing! After having gone through complete chaos with our home warranty, we were blessed enough to have had our request assigned to 2nd Opinion Plumbing. They showed up on time, they were courteous, amazing customer service by Andrea, SHE COMMUNICATES and explained everything to us that was going to take place. Understand, this is refreshing, because our home warranty company SUCKS. Like, reaaaally really bad.After going without hot water for almost 2 weeks because of the horrible customer service from our home warranty and a business they selected, I was so happy when I got the call from Andrea, who sent out two techs to make a quick assessment, communicate with our warranty company, and get this issue resolved! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Even though we will be leaving our warranty company, 2nd Opinion Plumbing will be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'd definitely recommend them- 5 star service all the way around.

This company was chosen by my home warranty. They took 3 days to respond to the claim and lied about contacting me for several days. I had no communication from them and them. Then when asked when I was available I say I’m off Friday. This is an entire week they have to put me on their schedule. I messaged Thursday to find out when my appointment is and they can’t provide that time until later in the evening. I work late and wasn’t able to answer the phone during the less than 30 minute window I was provided so they cancelled and said they will reschedule for next week. This is unacceptable, rudeness over the phone about it and the fact that I waited an entire week. I should have already been on the rotation. I cancelled and will not use this company. Should have cancelled on Monday when they were rude to begin with.

They have raised the standard of what one expects out of a plumber. Not only did he respond as a result of the Texas Winter Storm, he showed up and did not price gouge his work. Right now so many Texans are waiting in line for work to get done in their homes and to find that John could show up as fast as he did was amazing. He did the job and had his assistant clean up after their work. Overall very professional, reasonably priced and thorough.They know they are doing. His people were on text prior to coming out A+ on communication. The entire company is one I will ask my home warranty to send again. I had done work with others who left my house and literally did no work. I much prefer to work with 2nd Opinion.

We hired through home warranty and NEVER will again.I recommend Andrea (the mom) to please be more professional. You called us yelling over the phone about a payment we didn’t know about because no one communicated with us. Then, no one gave us an invoice, which we asked for twice, from your daughter and you.No one answers the phone or returns calls. The plumber barely communicates through texts which is not helpful.I hope this criticism is taken constructively.

I cannot attest to their work as we did not receive service from them because we did not make it past scheduling. They do not work weekends, which is fine, but they will also not give you any time slot until the night before. In my opinion this is very unusual and honestly unacceptable. Most people are not able to give less than a 24 hour notice to their work or prior commitments. Will not be calling 2nd opinion plumbing in the future.

They came out through the warranty company to see if our plumbing was okay. The toilet seat had a small crack in it (where a person sits not on the hinges). They broke the seat off its hinges and took the seat without permission. They said they would not be doing anything about it because it was “already broken when they got there”. No apologies, no sincerity, and no professionalism. Do not use this company! If you don’t listen to me, listen to all of the other bad reviews. Not worth your time.

These guys are horrible. They were called on our sons house in SA to find a water leak. They knocked holes in the wall in multiple locations, removed the hot water heater, cut lines them caped them off never finding any trace of water in the house. They had to be stopped from knocking more holes. They found no trace of water running anywhere in the house. They said there were multiple leak in the slab and the house had to be replumbed, cost 8 to 10 thousand dollars.Yes we called a different plumber. Found the leak in the yard not in the house. No leaks in the slab anywhere! but the Caps they put on the lines blew off Flooding the house on the inside. They did Thousands of dollars of damage and fixed nothing. Never ever use these guys.Now of course now they wont return a phone call.

The worst customer service I’ve ever received.Firstly, the plumber that came out to install the new products, was fantastic, thank you, Angel, for your professional service.The customer service representative was the rudest Karen I have ever encountered. She demanded I stay around for 2 days while they “worked” on getting a plumber out to us. Then, at dinner time, she calls multiple times and sends me rude text messages demanding payment at that very moment. I messaged her back requesting if I could make the payment the next morning as my family was sitting down for dinner, it was 6 in the evening, she said no.After calling and giving her my number, she hung up on me and I had to call back (The Karen let it go to voicemail this time) so I could ask for a receipt of payment.Horrible service, do not use

Home warranty sent them to check toilet problem. Plumber recommended upgrading toilet at additional cost. Only worked for two months. Tried contacting company, they didn't answered but texted back that it was over 30 day guarantee so I had to pay again for them to come diagnose problem again. If they diagnosed problem correctly first time then I wouldn't be in this situation again. Horrible customer service. Not professional. Bad work quality. Avoid the headache of dealing with this company.

These people left their work site a total wreck. We had a leak in our yard and I left before they were completely done, Came home to concrete from our foundation left On the yard, the whole they made not filled with the mud they removed, and my pavers totally misplaced. We contacted the man who worked on the job directly expressing that we were not happy after we paid so much to have a simple pipe fixed for our irrigation system and then for them To leave the work area a complete wreck...you guessed it, No response. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Repiped my trailer at a affordable price

I would highly recommend 2nd opinion for all of your plumbing needs. Especially during these trying times, their response time was quick and the services were finished each project within a reasonable time limit. I would highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs. Jo Ann

2nd opinion was very impressive. They came out right away to fix our leak after our recent winter storm. They were reliable, curteous, and efficient. Go with 2nd opinion, you won't regret it.

Very Unprofessional. Did not answer Questions. Did not answer Calls. In her words, “that’s not how our business works” then explain it but how if they don’t answer calls and are rude through text. She asked our availability but when given a time it was always, “our business is not open at that time, that’s not how we do business.” Then you tell me your availability, I’m not the employee, Im the one needing something done so I’ll happily work around your “business schedule” but reading the reviews going through this I would rather go somewhere else.

Plumber came to door,did not introduce self, not friendly. No mask during covid19 shutdown, so not concerned about safety. Spent less than two minutes on leaky faucet to just tighten it, still leaks as soon as he left. Did not let us know he left or anything.

John & Angle did a great job of installing a new electric hot water tank and bringing everything up to code requirements.

They were very friendly and on time explained what needed to be done. They are very professional I would definitely recommend them.
