We used Lonestar Landscaping 8yrs ago for a big travertine, outdoor fireplace, artificial turf project in our backyard, which was a success, so when we decided to totally redesign our front yard & add a BBQ island in the backyard, I had to reach out to Chris Cadena. 8 years later, I got the same experience: professional, skilled, stellar clean up, high quality material, timely, respectful of my property and a beautiful end product. I do appreciate the effort that was applied by the crew. The work itself was excellent. The girls in the office did a tremendous job with the submittal part to the HOA. My problem was with the supervision and the scheduling. Originally the project was suppose to take 2 weeks. It ended up taking 8+ weeks. I was continually asked to push my project back. After the 4th week, I had to start saying no. I created a simple punch list to finish the project and it took them 3 visits to get this list done. I specifically asked for the superivsor to be there and he did not show. Their view on detail is week. Once instructed, the crew can perform. This company might have great potential with good leadership.

Luis and his team have been working very hard from day one and everyone is perfectionist, which I appreciate very much. They are also very responsive to my questions and requests and have been working with me patiently to deal with demanding Dc Ranch HOA. I chose the Botanist after comparing the bid with other two luxurious landscapers. I think Botanist provides much better value and great project . It is a great fit for regular project like mine. Although sometimes (a couple of times) the crew may be running late or couldn’t show up as planned, which is normal in the industry, I still appreciate their effort to making it right even that means they have to work at late hours or longer days. I already recommended Botanist to my in law’s new build and will recommend them to my other friends as well.

Most professional company I have done service with. Tim was awesome. Very informative and defiantly knows what he is doing. This company isn't out just to collect a check but to keep customers happy and coming back. Honest work on a great price scale. We will continue to use this company for all of our irrigation needs.

Do not use this company. Constant and never ending screw ups, unresponsive owner, lack of care in their work. Check their yelp reviews and avoid at all costs.
