Living Tree Service has been trimming our trees for quite sometime now. Dan and his crew are punctual, professional, know what they're doing and take the time to do the job right. Dan answers all my questions and his knowledge of trees is incredible.

I ended talking to the Top Leaf sales-person by phone. I assumed he would come to my house and we could talk in person about my project. He told me he drove by and looked over the wall. There are a total of 7 trees in my back yard that needed removal and there was a immediate problem in trying to identify the trees I wanted removed over the phone which could have been avoided if he had came to my house and I could easily pointed out the trees I wanted removed. We settled on removing 2 trees and his estimate was $2500. The fact he didn't come to my house to discuss the project in person was a big negative in my mind and the estimate he gave me was way too high and that ended the conversation. I didn't hire Top Tree for those 2 issues. Average tree removal in this area is $800. 2 trees $1600. And there may have been other work I was considering if they had shown a little more enthusiasm. I hire a different company that showed up at my house within an hour and spent about an hour going over in detail different aspects of the job. They would do 4 trees for $1500. I decided then to do all 7 trees for a total of $2600, the estimate that Top Tree wanted for 2 trees. In addition, for no cost, he offered to rake and remove 2 years of leaves along 40 yards of gravel driveway. I then had another tree in front trimmed for a total bill of $2750.
