I hired Jeremy the Handyman/First Leaf Construction to correct a poorly sized attic opening at my older home. Jeremy did a fantastic job coming out to take a look/discuss options and provided a clear and reliable proposal. The new opening and corresponding door turned out perfect, with absolute high quality. Gerardo, Jose, and Miguel did an excellent job of refinishing our solid Oak entry door and curved Oak staircase, they are darker with the grains showing through and are a serious update to accompany all the other mods we've done, this is one of the last mods and makes a HUGE difference. The guys were quick, efficient, and skilled in their trade. We are 100% satisfied and will use them in a couple of months to do our Oak kitchen cabinets. Thanks to all!

Ray of Light was most professional. Mina was our first connection when she came to view the kitchen. She was accurate on her timetable of the job duration. Rene, Saul, Luis and Lupita arrived on time and worked constantly as a well oiled machine. They were polite and respectful of our home. And they enjoyed their work as you could tell when they were together laughing and conversing. The result is beautiful and durable painted cabinets. It was worth every cent.

Kitchen Tune-Up was great. From start to finish, they communicated well and were patient with me while I tried to decide what direction to go in on a limited budget. I wound up going with the one day tune-up and had some roll out shelves installed. They didn't try to oversell me and they were on time and efficient. The entire job only took around 4 hrs and the cabinets look great. They even replaced the little bumpers on the inside of the doors. I highly recommend the Mathews. They will restore your faith in contractors!

Great experience. They were super responsive, showed up when they said they would, the work was fast and high quality. They followed through on their promises. Super impressed! Great prices as well. I really liked working with them.

I have been very pleased so far. I called for an estimate and they scheduled me two day out. When it was 4 minutes past our scheduled time he text to let me know he was 5 minutes out. He took measurements and pictures and addressed all my concerns. I got a written bid the very next day. He was also very honest when ask how far out my project would be and how long it would take start to finish. So far very pleased.

I would NOT recommend this company. They installed the cabinets and left a huge mess that took them weeks to clean up after being asked over and over. They also measured incorrectly leaving huge flooring gaps. Our walls and molding have to be re sanded and repaired from moving the cabinets in. When I called they promised to return to make the needed repairs. Three months later no-one has shown up to make any repairs. Four of the cabinet ends were incomplete and the doors do not fit correctly. They did not install the cabinet hardware as promised. It's extremely disappointing that Jose' would not return or keep his promise. I have called over and over without a return call back. We now have to hire a contractor to repair the damages. TERRIBLE service.

So happy with the work John did. His whole team was professional and did an excellent job. Will be using them again for my future projects!
