We worked with David and Jim and the installer Todd in December 2019 for our kitchen and in January for our bar area. This company is fabulous to work with! David did an excellent job designing our kitchen from start to finish. Jim was accurate and helpful with the billing and payment process. Todd was amazing at the kitchen demo and the kitchen and bar rebuild. We are very happy with the quality and structure of the entire kitchen and bar. This company is very competitive in pricing. If we had known it was this painless, we would have done it years ago! We were also very happy with the granite fabricator company they referred us to. We had a great experience with DKB, from Bill in the sales department to Dave doing the installation. Bill was always very prompt to call back if I had questions, and always kept me updated with estimated delivery dates. Very friendly service all around. We've been contracting in Arizona for almost 20 years. Specifically, working in the kitchen and bath market for the past ten. A few years back we were dealers for 3 cabinetry lines in the Phoenix area. After too much hassle with the other guys, we decided to look into this operation. Within a few months, we exclusively dealt with the folks at New Cabinet Company. The line they distribute, J&K, is second to none in the modular cabinetry space - in terms of quality wood materials and hardware. We sell dozens of projects a year using their product and have not once had an unsatisfactory experience. The sales team is on point, the warehouse crew runs like a clock and the management from top down is accommodating and professional. The only cabinet company I would recommend.

Best Hardware store to find help. If you need to ask a question or your looking for tools , Hardware or Paint, the people there have the knowledge and a great attitude.

I met with Eric Raskin of Authentic Custom Cabinets about new kitchen cabinetry. The kitchen had already been designed and Authentic was given a write up with photos detailing the complete layout and everything that was required. Authentic agreed to supply all cabinetry as per the write up for a total of $35,722.50. Additionally, since Authentic did not do installation Raskin agreed to personally bring in his installer and arrange for and oversee the installation if I agreed to buy the cabinetry from Authentic. Prior to signing a contract I confirmed everything in writing. However, after I signed the contract and gave them a deposit of $17,861.25 Raskin notified me that Authentic’s position was that their contract voided everything they had promised and agreed to, both verbal and in writing, to make the sale and that they would not honor the agreement they had made with me. Authentic now demanded an additional $4,000 to supply all the cabinetry required by the write up and informed me that Raskin would have nothing to do with the installation. Raskin wrote in an email “This Contract Agreement has in no way any connection to any said write up agreement…Our Contract clearly states that it supersedes any and all other agreements, whether written or oral. I do not have any recommendation for an installer...You will be required to hire your own installer.” I insisted that Authentic and Raskin either abide by our original agreement or refund my deposit money. They refused. I was forced to hire an attorney and file a lawsuit, District Court Clark County, Nevada Case No. A-20-816744-C, which is a matter of public record. Nevada requires these cases go to arbitration first. The arbitrator heard the case and ruled in my favor and ordered Authentic to refund my deposit. Authentic refused to abide by the arbitrator’s decision and appealed the case thereby requiring a full trial. The trial took place and the trial judge also ruled in my favor and ordered Authentic to refund my deposit. The judge wrote in his decision “As to Authentic’s alleged breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, the Pro Tempore Judge concludes that Authentic acted so cavalierly, so dismissive, and so recklessly … that it contravened the very intention and spirit of the Contract.” I am now trying to collect the money awarded by the court. I went to another Cabinet company and they supplied and installed the exact same product at a cost that was lower than what Authentic would have received even if they had honored the original agreement they made.

I have been very pleased so far. I called for an estimate and they scheduled me two day out. When it was 4 minutes past our scheduled time he text to let me know he was 5 minutes out. He took measurements and pictures and addressed all my concerns. I got a written bid the very next day. He was also very honest when ask how far out my project would be and how long it would take start to finish. So far very pleased.

The owner and his staff are very kind and the craftsmanship is unreal! Pricing is also very good for custom!

Update: I do not work there anymore. I got in an accident a year ago while driving the company truck. While in the hospital I got fired. When I tried to apply for unemployment, I found out that I couldn’t get it. The reason I couldn’t is because I was reported to have only made $2500 last year. But that’s wrong, I made $50,000. And it turns out that the owner removed me as a paid employee so that he could keep all the money that I was paying in taxes and not have to pay matching taxes either. So I wasn’t able to get unemployment. Luckily I got Workmen’s Comp for my accident. For the employees working there I hope that the business does well, but that’s the only reason. I hoped that what happened to me doesn’t happen to more employees, but I actually know that it has happened to more already. I don’t know how people get away with things like that. They won’t for long for sure. They think that they’re safe in their little world but they’re not. It’s gonna come crashing down on them someday.
I’ve heard that it doesn’t matter much anymore because they weren’t paying employees for a while now. Probably gone out of business already
