Authentic Custom Cabinetry has an amazing staff. I'm in the process of getting new cabinets and Mary has been super helpful. I was also glad to meet Eric at my house to discuss the various options. It has been an amazing experience so far. Great to see their are good people out there that genuinely care about others.

I met with Eric Raskin of Authentic Custom Cabinets about new kitchen cabinetry. The kitchen had already been designed and Authentic was given a write up with photos detailing the complete layout and everything that was required. Authentic agreed to supply all cabinetry as per the write up for a total of $35,722.50. Additionally, since Authentic did not do installation Raskin agreed to personally bring in his installer and arrange for and oversee the installation if I agreed to buy the cabinetry from Authentic. Prior to signing a contract I confirmed everything in writing. However, after I signed the contract and gave them a deposit of $17,861.25 Raskin notified me that Authentic’s position was that their contract voided everything they had promised and agreed to, both verbal and in writing, to make the sale and that they would not honor the agreement they had made with me. Authentic now demanded an additional $4,000 to supply all the cabinetry required by the write up and informed me that Raskin would have nothing to do with the installation. Raskin wrote in an email “This Contract Agreement has in no way any connection to any said write up agreement…Our Contract clearly states that it supersedes any and all other agreements, whether written or oral. I do not have any recommendation for an installer...You will be required to hire your own installer.” I insisted that Authentic and Raskin either abide by our original agreement or refund my deposit money. They refused. I was forced to hire an attorney and file a lawsuit, District Court Clark County, Nevada Case No. A-20-816744-C, which is a matter of public record. Nevada requires these cases go to arbitration first. The arbitrator heard the case and ruled in my favor and ordered Authentic to refund my deposit. Authentic refused to abide by the arbitrator’s decision and appealed the case thereby requiring a full trial. The trial took place and the trial judge also ruled in my favor and ordered Authentic to refund my deposit. The judge wrote in his decision “As to Authentic’s alleged breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, the Pro Tempore Judge concludes that Authentic acted so cavalierly, so dismissive, and so recklessly … that it contravened the very intention and spirit of the Contract.” I am now trying to collect the money awarded by the court. I went to another Cabinet company and they supplied and installed the exact same product at a cost that was lower than what Authentic would have received even if they had honored the original agreement they made.

Eric at Authentic Custom Cabinetry was a pleasure to deal with. We got everything we asked for in our new kitchen. Others won't do the custom work we requested but Eric accommodated our needs with pleasure and professionalism and kept it substantially under budget.

I contacted him 5 years later for another job and he was just as nice and accommodating as he was the first time. You rarely find this old school commitment to customer service anymore. I don't need to look for anyone else other than his company now and in the future.

His services were very reasonably priced, and he has been meticulous in his measurements and design, timely with the deliverables, and responsive to our concerns. As an out-of-state homeowner, Eric with Authentic Custom Cabinets has been beyond a pleasure to do business with. We had problems with other contractors not completing the job or doing sub-standard work and Eric has been the exact opposite. He has been an exceptional communicator and a straight shooter, and worked with us to iron out every detail of the design. He installed beautiful custom cabinetry in our laundry room and repaired a cabinet for us in the kitchen. As a long time residential home builder and remodel contractor Authentic is the best I have seen and used. I have never seen so much knowledge from design to the construction of his and his competitors products. I had originally thought of going with the big builder warehouse for my kitchen remodel. I paid up-front for the in home measurement. When I received the plans and price, more than anticipated, due to sudden health issue, I postponed the commitment.
When I looked over the plans, it was a replica of my existing kitchen layout. It even had the same bulky jetted out cabinet tower that left me with no counter space. I went and verified the measurements and even that was wrong. I would end up paying for the same non-functional ugly kitchen.

I decided to contact Authentic Custom Cabinetry to see what they could do for my small kitchen. Eric saw my kitchen, listened to what I wanted, and made suggestions. Once I committed, he measured
several times and presented plans. I approved the cabinet style for my European Modern Kitchen. Eric will design your kitchen and sell cabinets. To remove cabinets, install, electrical, plumbing, construction, etc., Authenic Custom Cabinetry does not do this work and these trades people are separate hire. Eric will give numbers to call if asked. By doing it this way will save money on the kitchen remodel. However, what is nice, if you feel you can not do this on your own, you can hire Eric as a contractor to oversee work being done.

I never felt abandoned during this process and any questions I had, Eric always returned my calls. For the cost of my cabinets, kitchen redesign by expanding wall, plumbing job came abt the same as just cabinets from my 1st quote at big builder warehouse. The added bonus is also I received better cabinetry. Eric is a good person, knowledgeable, and never tried to over sell me. I felt confident in doing business with him and will highly recommend him to family and friends for their kitchen remodels.
