Best Surfaces Painting in Phoenix AZ

Randy, the owner, and his team were fantastic! They painted our kitchen and master bath cabinets using precat laquer and the finish is factory quality. Our 20 year old cabinets look brand new and we couldn’t be happier. Randy and his team were always on time every single day (took about 4 days) and they did a great job masking the areas (not a spot of paint on my walls, floors, or new granite countertops). They cleaned up when they left and you couldn’t even tell they were there. The cherry on top is his pricing is extremely reasonable, beating almost every other quote. Although I don’t expect to have any issues with our cabinet finish lasting a long time given the high quality materials and prep work they performed, but I can rest easy knowing that if there were to be any issues, Randy would take care of it. He is a consummate professional and was a pleasure to work with. I have already recommended him to friends and will certainly use him and his crews for any job in the future (they do more than just painting, check out their website and give them a call).

Daniel did an amazing job getting my house ready to sell. Home Depot was going to take 3 weeks to install countertops and Daniel got in done in a week! He did everything from painting cabinets to installing light ballasts to repairing baseboards. There is literally nothing that he or his crew cannot do. There is no question that he significantly increase the sales price of my home. I cannot recommend him too highly!

We used Improovy to paint the ceiling of our condo before we put it on the market and they did a great job. Super responsive and took care of everything. Seems to be a great solution for any move-in or move-out home painting as they were quick to accommodate our timetable and were able to provide a competitive quote via phone call, which was very convenient. There were a few items that we needed to fix after the job but their team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our project and bring it to a great compulsion. Overall a great experience with the Improovy team - highly recommend.

October 2021 From quote to completion the CertaPro staff were easy to work with, cost was inline with expected, quality is above and beyond.There was so much prep work to be done, they never complained, worked their bottoms off. End result the house looks incredible!

Edit to add Dec 2021 had some peeling paint, they did come out & repair the issue.

**Update**: I am THRILLED to update my review and say that AZ Painting has resolved ALL issues with our cabinet painting project! To their credit, they kept the dialogue open with us, they inspected and researched the problem areas, and they truly worked to thoroughly resolve the situation. They repeatedly apologized for any offense or disappointment that we experienced. Our technician, Jonathan, is a true professional and we appreciate his attention to detail. I am attaching updated pictures of our cabinets to show the final results. AZ Painting has regained my loyalty!

Original Review: I chose this company based on my previous experiences with them, but, sadly, can no longer recommend them. We contracted with them to have my oak cabinets painted white. The result: each cabinet has significant and very visible flaws in appearance. Further, the paint is chipping off just by normal use and it has only been a couple of weeks. Clearly, something is wrong. Representatives from the company refuse to accept any responsibility and they have said the following to me: use NAIL POLISH to touch up the cabinets, nothing can be done about this, we don't know how to fix this and this is just how painted cabinets look. There is an area where my flooring guy put low adhesion painter's tape well after the cabinets were dry. When the tape was pulled off of the toe kick, the cabinet paint came off too. AZ Painting Company replied with well, we don't know what brand tape he used; you can only use Frog Tape on these, we don't know exactly how soon after he applied the tape, and they eventually said that it was the cabinet material that failed, not the paint. Oh please! Even their sales representative said the cabinets should not look like this. But, will AZ Painting do the right thing for the customer? NOPE. I once raved about this company to everyone who would listen, but, I now have zero confidence in them. I don't trust them to fix their poor painting job. I've requested a refund, they have not agreed to that, so I am pursuing this further.

first the good, Carlos is easy to work with. He did a couple of extras for me, which I appreciated.
Now the bad, He asked me if I wanted white cabinets. I told him no! I do not like white cabinets. I gave him the exact color that I wanted, I picked out the color at the paint store. Now the job is completed & I have pure white cabinets in the kitchen & both bathrooms. I think he must have had white paint & just used what he had rather than what I wanted. He said the cabinets would be sanded, primed & painted. In less than a month the paint is already pealing off of the cabinets. I can see they did not sand or prime the cabinets. There are also several areas of trim where the paint is running. There were a few areas of drywall that needed patched. Those areas were patched very badly. Does not blend in to the walls at all, it looks awful.
