Arizona Painting Company Painter
I have used Arizona Painting Company before. My past experiences have been good. There were a few issues with the service this go around. I hired them to paint the wall around the perimeter of my backyard. I thought the price was extremely fair given the proposed work. A few days before the work was scheduled to begin they phoned to move up the date. I know they are working around many scheduling challenges with other customers and this was no big deal so I agreed.I am not entirely sure where they get their painters. Sometimes they show up with Arizona Painting on the vehicle and sometimes they don't. I think some are sub contractors but I don't know that for sure. The individual who showed up was very courteous and on time. He did not have the proper tools to complete the job. The work included raking back the gravel a couple of inches and he had no rake so he just used my tools instead. Didn't ask and what would he have done had I not had any? They were also to power wash the wall only he didn't have a power washer, and it took the better part of the day for him to get one. There seemed to be a lot of confusing as to who was supposed to supply it. Arizona Painting, or was he supposed to have one of his own. At this point I wondered why they wanted to move up my paint date as he was not prepared to do the job. After day one, no painting had been done, which meant 1 primer and 2 top coats were to be completed the next day.The next day the 3 coats were applied in about 3 hours and there was nearly 5 gallons of paint leftover. The paint was applied by spraying and it was very thin in spots even though there were 2 top coats. There were many spots that I found to touch up and some that I missed but can see now as I look closer. They also did not do a retexturing of the wall as the quote had stated. At this point they had cleaned up and put everything away. I don't think the painter read the painting agreement and know what the scope of the work was supposed to be. As I look at the wall more closely today, I find spots that I can see the primer even after the 2 coats were applied. Admittedly, at this point I did not ask them to retexture the wall because they would have had to come back a 3rd day after allowing it to dry so they could repaint those areas. In the end it seemed as though they were in a hurry to move on.The overall attention to detail was really lacking. Although the wall looks better today then prior to the work being done, overall I am disappointed.

VanDerKolk did my iron fences. They did a fantastic job. Showed high-level of care and skill, and most importantly integrity. They did what they said they'd do. I would recommend them.

Martinez painting Painter
We needed a painter to paint the outside of our house in December 2020 before refinancing. We called Carlos who came and gave us an estimate using recommended Dunn Edwards colors. The price was reasonable and competitive with other companies. Carlos explained every procedure he would do and the reasons for the prep work and the materials. Carlos arrived with a worker and spend the first day power washing the house, taping and preparing. The next day Carlos arrived and the work was efficiently done. My wife is happy with the color scheme. We feel that we were able to receive a higher price on the value of our property because of the curb appeal. Thank You. We highly recommend Carlos Martinez Painting.

Arizona Painting Company Painter
Hired Arizona Painting Company to do some minor drywall work and paint an entire large home. They were the lowest bidder by a fair margin and now I know why. The drywall work was acceptable, but texture matching on large areas was very mediocre. Most (not all) of the walls are well painted, but there are a lot details that are really sloppy. Many paint spots on the downstairs tile from the ceiling. Several spots on the carpet where paint was spilled and then just wiped up. Carpet edges along the baseboards are really sloppy in many places. A number of switch plates were not removed prior to painting which can leave a sloppy look when that plate has to be removed and replaced. To top it off they replaced a lot of the hinge pin door-stops backwards, which actually results in a hole being poked in hollow core doors.
