During a dinner party a conversation about professional interior painting came up. We joked about how I am too critical and picky that it wouldn't be worth paying someone, but my friend had a response - call Paint Ops. I laughed but then looked them up and read the reviews. We decided to schedule a consult.
From the moment we sent the first message Travis was extremely profession, knowledgeable, and responsive. When he came out for the consult, he answered all of my many, many, questions, made sure that he had answered exactly what I wanted to know and what else he could help with. We have dogs and plan to sell our home this year when we move, we were worried about the dogs scratching the trim and having to have it redone, he had a solution - they actually make a paint for that, and anything else we never would have imagined. He was able to help us pick out colors that we liked and that were desired in the current market. There was zero pressure to schedule, he is well organized and was able to provide me with a physical printed, itemized, quote before he left our home.
We decided immediately that we would be using this company and could not be happier with the results. Our house is only 3 years old but had numerous nail pops starting, uneven spots on the walls from poor workmanship and in some places from previous painters, missing caulking. Paint Ops doesn’t just paint, they move your furniture, they sand anything uneven, repair damaged walls, and fix nail pops and trim issues. They move your furniture back and vacuum everything. They also leave you with the supplies to touch up any possible damage later. The attention to detail was unbelievable, they prep and use sprayers to paint the trim so there are no streaks or marks, and they worked around us needing to use parts of the house during the day.
During the entire process there was constant communication, we always received replies quickly, and were asked about a lot of details to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. If you are reading this, you should schedule a consultation with Paint Ops before hiring anyone, even if you already have someone in mind its worth comparing the services being offered. If there is a wait, it is worth it, there is a reason they book so far out.

We were so impressed with the entire team at Lime! They were Uber professional, timely and the product they deliver is outstanding. We used them for an exterior whitewash and they painted our windows. They transformed the look of our house and now will be coming back for more! Thank you Talía, Joshua and team!

VanDerKolk did my iron fences. They did a fantastic job. Showed high-level of care and skill, and most importantly integrity. They did what they said they'd do. I would recommend them.

We used Improovy to paint the ceiling of our condo before we put it on the market and they did a great job. Super responsive and took care of everything. Seems to be a great solution for any move-in or move-out home painting as they were quick to accommodate our timetable and were able to provide a competitive quote via phone call, which was very convenient. There were a few items that we needed to fix after the job but their team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our project and bring it to a great compulsion. Overall a great experience with the Improovy team - highly recommend.

Ben had started and completed 4 residential jobs for me. He goes beyond expected with quality and price. The 5th job is on the way. Recommend his work and he also does drywall repairs. Keep up the good work Ben!

They were contracted thru Native Interiors and after talking to native a few times it seems they refuse to have Ayalas company come back to repair the poor painting job not very happy with either company

Rising Phoenix’s work was sub-par and very expensive. During the initial walkthrough, Juan portrayed a keen eye for detail and dedication to quality that his crew clearly doesn’t share (and, in retrospect, Juan only pays lip service to). There were issues with Rising Phoenix even from the beginning, with Juan not wanting to paint samples of various paints on our walls (he tried to charge me extra for this service that every other painter does for free) and instead providing small painted pieces of canvas (as if that’s a reasonable alternative when deciding which paints to use for an entire house). Then, Juan conveniently “forgot” about agreeing to include certain additional items in the quoted price as part of me giving him the contract (needless to say, if you are unfortunate enough to do business with this company, get everything in writing beforehand). Also, there is a clear disconnect between what Juan tells you he can/will do and what his crew actually does (despite him telling me several times that he met with his crew/walked through with them to “get on the same page”). As his crew isn’t detail oriented and doesn’t seem to really care about doing an excellent job (despite Juan’s claims to the contrary), they either miss many things or do them poorly. The resulting touch-up work then lead to a patchy paint job (or rather a patchier paint job, as poor use of a sprayer caused streaks and patches in several areas during the initial painting). This sloppiness also manifested in other ways, such as the crew leaving globs of dried drywall mud in river rock on the outside of the house, splattering paint on the river rock, smearing paint on my hardwood floor and bathroom fixtures, etc. Also, they straight-up lied about several things (stating that they would do various things that I asked them to but they didn’t and other things) and some of the drywall repair work they did is cracking after three months. When I pointed out various problems, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor by fixing them; at various points Juan even had the temerity to suggest said that he would address the issues if I tipped his crew. Frankly, given the positive reviews (although, in retrospect, it is telling that this company doesn’t have that many reviews given how long they’ve been in business and how busy Juan claims they are), cost, and the attention to detail that Juan portrayed during our initial walk-through, I was really disappointed and upset by the overall poor quality of the work. The one redeeming thing was the person who did a nice job of some minor exterior stucco repair. Avoid at all costs (unless you want to pay a lot for shoddy work and be frustrated by their inability to fix the problems properly despite pointing them out over and over)! There are much better painters out there who will do good work at a much better price, like the one I hired to fix all the issues that Juan’s crew caused/left behind.

Randy and Tyra are an amazingly professional team. We have utilized their services twice. Upon moving into our town home in Tempe they assisted with rehanging doors, installing excellent lighting in my wife's craft room, making general drywall repairs in the home, and installing exterior light fixtures. They were more than willing to provide an estimate prior to work which was extremely detailed and accurate. If you're looking for a professional team that can handle any repair job in your home and complete it with great precision I would highly recommend Randy and Tyra.
