I have a large outdoor masonry paint project that I received 3 bids for. I called Steven and asked for an honest bid. Not only was the project done at a 3rd of the price of other bids, but Steven did the job quickly and thoroughly. He went over the project to make sure everything was done to my 100% satisfaction. He warranties his work and followed up after the project to make sure we have no concerns. I have his number on my speed dial and will call him back for any future projects. I highly recommend Metzger's, my exterior was in poor repair and needed lots of work before painting could even begin. They carefully and thoroughly prepped then finished with a stunning paint job. My home is transformed and I'm the envy of my block. They are priced competitively but the extra care taken made their price a bargain.

I hired this company to paint the entire inside of my house as well as the kitchen cabinets. They did an excellent job and I have no complaints about their painting. I highly recommend them as painters.

Unfortunately, I had a major problem with the blinds which turned out to be an awful experience for me. Because the person who hung the blinds, after painting, did not hang them in a stud, three fell. The first fell in my master bedroom and broke to pieces. I could not reuse the head so had to order the complete blind for a very large window. The second blind fell on a Sunday morning at 330am. Because I had learned from the first experience, I immediately straighten the blinds and the head. I only lost three vanes (vertical blinds). The third fell in my guest bedroom and landed on the bed. Once again, I immediately straighten them and only lost three. I honestly did not know what to do.

I called the manager of Top Star Painting. He helped me discard of blinds in my master bedroom but felt it was not their fault. Later when I contacted him to explain that it was. He flatly refused to assist me and refused to accept responsibility. Not only was this a cost I had not planned to endure but also it was very traumatic.

Someone at my church suggested Lowe's and it turned out to be a wonderful experience and not as costly as other blind companies had quoted. They did a remarkable job not only in matching my blinds but in hanging them. The pattern had changed but the color was exact. The two patterns are so closely matched it is practically impossible to tell the difference. I also had to hire a blind repair company who came out, rehung two of them and checked the other blinds to ensure they would not fall. They indicated that it was the painters. When the third blind in the guest room fell, you could see the original holes whereas with the others the holes had been filled in and it was difficult to tell. I have pictures of the original holes than the holes where they were rehung.

I rated Top Star Painting a 4 because their painting was excellent, and I would recommend them to anyone for painting only.

ATR Handyman is a fantastic, family owned business. They are helpful, accountable, professional and educated about the jobs they complete. We have been completely satisfied with the work that they have done - we have them hired out through the next few months to continue doing work on our home. His range of expertise and abilities are impressive. Looking forward to getting our light fixtures replaced in the next few weeks!
