ABN Painting Painter
I just recently had my house painted by ABN Painting. Actually, it’s my second home I’ve had them paint within the last 10 years. I can’t thank them enough! Alex’s prompt response, his expertise in home painting, and his price point should have any potential client highly considering ABN’S services. I’m a client for life!

We are very happy with our experience dealing with APC and despite the few bad things we encountered, we would still highly recommend them.THE BAD:1) my sister was home while they painted the doors yet the crew failed to knock on the door & ask her about opening the doors so they could paint every inch of them; which means there were strips left unpainted (see photos)2) we found a discarded paint roller in our front lawn (luckily before we mowed the lawn!)3) the crew threw trash into our green organics bin4) although the foreman said he would send pictures daily, he never didTHE GOOD:Everything else! The communications between us, the estimator and office rep (Chris & Cara, respectively) was superior. Heck, Chris even answered my first e-mail at 8 p.m. then proceeded to call me immediately to discuss further. We had a lot of questions, and one or both of them were quick to respond. The quote / invoice were pretty straight forward although some sections contradicted each other - I suggest you read it thoroughly, a couple times, and call out anything that doesn't make sense. For example, one section may have said the pop outs were the body color but another section said they were the accent color. You do have a walk through with the foreman before they even begin putting up the sheeting so everything should be made clear then, but it's appreciated to have the paperwork details consistent. After the invoice was settled & signed, APC was able to schedule us within a month's time. Although they allotted an entire week, it only took the guys three days (not counting their return visit to make touch ups discovered during the walk through). To my recollection, there were only two guys on the crew (George and Danny, I believe were there names). So damn, they were fast! The financing process was pretty darn easy, too. They offered a 6 mos same as cash, 12 mos same as cash, and a 5-year plan with a 6.99% interest rate. Our house looks great, practically brand new - and we are extremely happy with the APC team. THANK YOU!(Note: this review is also on Yelp!)

Arizona Painting Company Painter
We found Arizona Painting Company (Tucson) through Rosie on the House. We received other quotes but chose APC based on their availability, professional estimator and based on the work they said would be needed to bring our home back to life. The exterior hadn't been treated or painted in over 15 years and we knew it would be big job. The crew worked very hard, were very professional and were a joy to work with. We are also very happy with the Dunn Edwards Premium paint we chose. It looks great! We love that way it turned out and we get many compliments from our friends and neighbors.

PAINTERS INK LLC - CORPORATE OFFICE Painter
I was not at all happy with the work done by Juan with Painters Ink. As work progressed, we noticed paint on tile flooring, paint blobs stuck to new carpet that was installed just a few weeks earlier, sprayed on a poorly masked ceiling fan, etc. There was a massive run of paint oversprayed on a door, dripping down the door. We found a cigarette butt on the floor in our home. There were streaks on the freshly painted walls. When we pointed this out, he argued that it was just shadows and with better light you would not see that. That was absolutely not the case. We fired him before the job was complete, before he could do more damage and bad work. After repainting one wall that had obvious streaks ourselves, it looks fine now. THEN we found that he sprayed over the kitchen ceiling LED panel lights. Before realizing he painted over them, we thought the panels were going bad. Now we have to clean or replace them which will cost us hundreds of dollars in time and/or money.

Juan argued with us about all the poor work and damage we pointed out, which was juvenile and dishonest.

He charged us $1500 of the $2200 quoted for the whole job. Initially I thought this was money well wasted to limit the damage. However, after finding the ceiling LED light panels painted over, and the doorbell cover painted over (and painted on so it was difficult to remove to repair the damage), I regret paying him anything, as this is going to significantly cost us. We now have a different painter coming in to finish with hopefully better work.

I don't remember ever leaving a bad review for a product or service. I'm not a chronic complainer. I'm also aware and saddened that this review may initially detrimentally affect Juan and his employees. However, considering his arguing, without bad reviews such as this, he will not address the shortcomings in his services.

If you are looking for quality work, this organization could be a disaster for you as they were for us.
