Best Tile Flooring Replacement in Phoenix AZ
Atomic Construction is fantastic! We replaced the flooring on our entire first floor as well as several other rooms in our home. Atomic helped us pick the perfect floor and had it installed in no time. We LOVE the end result and it has added so much to our home. We will absolutely be using Atomic again in the future.

I just dropped off two pallets of flooring, they opened their dock early for me, the people were passionate about the jobs they provide to their community, the “boss man” came out and made sure I was being taken care of and not having to wait to unload, employees were fast, efficient, polite, well groomed, skilled, and gave myself and my co-driver 2 bottles of cold water each when they realized we were from out of town and were just winging it in the desert lol.
Kinda makes me wish I lived nearby just so I could patronize such an awesome business.

“We love our tiled shower and bathroom floor, by Alan of Alan’s Flooring. He is awesome to work with. Very hard working and meticulous. He and his sister were efficient and have a system to get the project done. We highly recommend Alan's Flooring. We will hire him again for future projects if we need to do more remodeling.” I would post a photo, but we still have painting and drywall repairs to do. Greg and Sandy M.

The folks at Home Solutionz - Phoenix were caring, professional, and enjoyable to work with - both in-store and on the job site, at our home. They helped us find more eco-friendly materials, going over options and pulling samples from storage. They have an appreciation for the art and craft of flooring and took the time to explain nuanced differences in the materials. They worked with us to make adjustments so we could stay within our budget. Their work crew was super helpful, friendly and diligent.Home Solutionz - Phoenix

Reading other recent reviews of Heath and Rachel at Urban Customs not finishing jobs, and coming up with strange excuses not to finish a job is very familiar as this is exactly what happened to me. Please read below and BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO WORK WITH THIS DISHONEST COMPANY. Also see my note at the bottom regarding fraudulent advertising and the BBB...
I spent a great deal of time researching local flooring contractors who specialize in refinishing hardwood floors. After both Rachel and Heath visited my project site, they were confident that they could both improve the existing engineered hardwood and match new planks to the old floor if I was able to find the same material. I searched everywhere and was able to purchase just what we needed. Additionally, Heath was very insistent that I complete all other work in the house before he returned to install the new flooring and refinish the existing floors.
My other contractors and painters took great care to protect the floors while they worked, and after finishing their work as planned, the existing floors looked nearly identical to when we began. When Heath returned on the day we scheduled to begin the work, he suddenly decided that he no longer wanted to do the job. Furthermore, he said the whole plan was a terrible idea, and the only option he would recommend was to tear out all floors and put in vinyl plank. If I was going to pursue this option, I would have been able to choose from hundreds of local companies who only do new vinyl plank installs, and would not have waited till the end of my project to have Urban Customs perform the refinishing they agreed to.
While I spent a couple days trying to decide what new course of action to take, and get additional flooring installation bids (now that my plans were completely up in the air), Heath spent about 15 minutes in the home spraying one room to prepare for flooring and removed a couple pieces of old flooring.
I ultimately decided to discontinue with Urban Customs and I let Heath know the same, as he had changed his mind by the time it was his turn to work on the refinishing job we discussed and agreed to months ago (and I had already paid my deposit for the same). What happened next was ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING... when Heath responded that night, he decided that I owed him $529.84 for the 15 minutes he spent preparing to install floors!!! No floors were actually installed, and the INSANE cost to spray for a couple minutes and remove a couple pieces of old floor were NEVER discussed with me, and if they were, I would have definitely found another company to complete this work! That comes out to nearly $2000/hr in labor!!! This money has been unfairly deducted from my deposit, and I have absolutely no recourse as this fraudulent and greedy local company has completely screwed me and essentially derailed my remodeling plans.
Note: While going back and reviewing other reviews and supposed credentials/accreditations of Urban Customs, I noticed that quite a bit of their websites and even their original estimate and contract (which they decided to back out of) list them as a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited Business. If you take a quick trip over to the BBB website, you will see quite clearly: Urban Customs, Flooring Contractors -- NOT BBB ACCREDITED.

After an unfortunate water leak, we needed to get new wood flooring for the bedroom. European Design Flooring was the only store in the valley (we must have looked at 10+) that had a diverse selection and worked closely with us to make a great match. The customer service was wonderful, and the delivery of the wood on the earlier side which was greatly appreciated when the house was in disarray before the holidays. Thanks much for quality flooring, reasonable pricing and excellent customer service and support!!!

If I could rate a zero, I would. The first contact with Andy (owner/operator) in his store was great. But then something changed and the owner became a nightmare. He talks WAY too much and it's very difficult to get him to answer the specific question you ask. He never called us back when he said he would and we always had to be the ones to initiate a conversation. He was unbelievably slow with everything and took us calling multiple times and going back into the store again to get any movement. He finally came to our house to price it up and when he told us the price of the flooring, we were happy with it. A couple weeks later, the price was suddenly about $5,000 higher than the original price he gave us. When I pressed him on why, he gave many excuses like there were a couple more stairs he forgot to add in plus removing the floorboards etc, none of which would explain the $5k jump in price. I kept trying to get to the bottom of it with him on the phone when Andy suddenly yelled, take your business somewhere else, don't come back! and hung up the phone. Really unprofessional company! Luckily the owner was so slow with everything, that we didn't start the project with him and are now going with the much better/cheaper/more professional Flooring Express.

Tony and his team did our first floor tile and we are so impressed! Working with him was great, he was easy to communicate with, quick response to any questions we had. He took extra care to protect kitchen island and cabinets. We are so happy with our new floor and would highly recommend Footprints Floors. Thanks Tony!
