David was very cordial and helpful today during our scavenger hunt to match some old tile. He gave us genuine insight on products and spent time explaining what options might work best in our situation dealing with water damaged properties.

Alan was the first to respond to our request, provided great recommendations for other trades and completed our job as promised. He provided an exceptional value and worked extremely hard to produce a beautiful result. I’ll, no doubt, be calling him again!

A very shocking update to my prior post.... I discovered just hours ago that Urban Customs has decided to STEAL my original deposit of several thousand dollars. Yes... STEAL. Keep in mind, no actual flooring was installed as detailed in my main review, due to Heath changing his mind about refinishing my hardwood floors spontaneously. Apparently he does not want other customers to read my in-depth review of what happened, and Heath is holding my deposit money for RANSOM (which he previously promised to return). He has stated that he will only return it if I take down the truthful, albeit quite negative, reviews I have posted AND sign some mystery document, which is very very suspicious and shady.
While I am not in a position to lose thousands of dollars, it is more important to make this valuable information available to others in the greater Phoenix area so they can avoid having to deal with this absolutely criminal behavior that Heath and Rachel at Urban Customs engage in. I want everyone to be aware that this is the type of business they run, and any cent you may decide to pay them, you may never see again, nor will you necessarily get the services you think you are paying for.
I will be taking them to small claims court following this unbelievable experience, as well as other protective measures to ensure they cannot continue to cheat, threaten, and rip off others.

Wonderful. We loved working with Carmen. She is patient and has a very good eye for color and design.
Corey, our tile setter, was great. He is very knowledgeable about laying tile. We enjoyed working with him in our home.
Our tile flooring is impressive.

Renovation and Design Concepts transformed my dated and unattractive kitchen into a beautiful, contemporary and functional heart-of-the-home. The RDC Gals worked with me at every strategic point. They designed a new countertop layout to include a functional eat-in bar. They showed me dozens of options for countertops and backsplashes. Helping me avoid distraction by shining objects they guided my selections to please my own design sense and optimizing the value of my home. The renovation included some drywall work, and included a re-do of my stair case. I highly recommend their service. From the quality of the workmanship to their keen eye for finishing touches, Renovation and Design Concepts fully met my expectations for quality, value and aesthetics. Can't wait to do my master bath!

Great selection of wood. Recommend the store Home Solutionz - Scottsdale who is always there for you and get you best price. They have the broadest selection available in the mid-to-high-end marketplace in our area. The store is well organized with helpful displays.

We have used Hernan’s Custom Tile and Stone several times in the past 6 years. We have had tile flooring installed as well as counter-to-ceiling kitchen backsplash, bathroom tile repair, and a floor-to-ceiling layered stone living room wall. All projects are beautifully done. Hernan and his crew are professional, friendly, and pay a great deal of attention to quality detail work. We always call Hernan for our tile and stonework needs.

I would highly recommend not using Home Solutionz, Tempe, AZ.
1. 8/10/2022- Placed order for tile in 3 rooms from sales person.
2. Start date for install, 8/17/2022.
3. 08/16/2022 at around 7:45pm Home Solutions called to reschedule install by one day. Okay, I guess.
4. 8/17/2022 start date moved to 08/18/2022. Starts time should be from anywhere for 9AM-11AM.
5. 08/18/2022 - Received a call that installer was having truck issues, but they were going to pick up my tile. – Ok, (Red Flag).
6. 08/18/2022 11:30AM, called Home Solutionz and asked what going on, no one is here. I was told they were on their way and will pull people from other jobs to get started on my job and get on track.
7. 08/18/2022 - One person show up in a car. I asked him where are the others, he does not know. I called HS (Home Solutions) and was told the crew was 2-3 hrs. behind him.
8. 08/18/2022 – I had to help the one person move the furniture that I paid them to do.
9. 08/18/2022 – The one person removes the carpet from both room and preps the rooms. So, 2 of the 3 rooms are ready. The other people that were to show up never did.
10. 08/19/2022 – 2 people show up this time and they set tile in the 2 rooms. I was told that on 08/20/2020 that I would have 2-3 people working on 8/20/2022.
11. 08/20/2022- one person shows up to grout the tile, I ask about the other person, no clue. We still have one whole room to do. Please, this means that I’m sleeping in a different room for 2 nights.
12. I explain to them, that this has messed up my plans and I have work to deal with now. This project was to be completed by 08/20/2022.
13. So now they will come back (hopefully) on 08/25 and 08/26 to complete the last bedroom.
I would think more than twice before using them. Maybe Home Solutions should invest in a scheduling system.
On a side note, the contractual agreement does specifically state the dates are approximate. So, I guessing this gives Home Solutionz all the leverage to jerk anyone around as the feel and will get to you when they can.
