Best Residential Remodeling in Phoenix AZ

I can’t say enough good things about James, Terry, Chris and this company. They just wrapped a ten-location flooring project for one of our customers in the Phoenix Area and throughout the whole process, they maintained excellent communication in relaying project progress, details and completion photos to us at our offices here in Ohio. They even handled the logistics for us regarding the placement and relocating of the refrigeration trucks needed for perishables to be stored while the restaurant coolers were getting their new floors. They worked with us and our customer to schedule and complete these jobs at a time and in a manner that was the least disruptive to our customer’s business so I would highly recommend them for any flooring job needed and look forward to working with them again in the future.

Tony and his team did our first floor tile and we are so impressed! Working with him was great, he was easy to communicate with, quick response to any questions we had. In my opinion the word crooks is the best way to describe them. They reported my initial review to Google which was completely honest and had it removed. This is in violation of the consumer fair review act which I've reported to the FTC.

Too much to list here but ill share a few items. They fraudulently charged me over $3,000 for glue(which during a repair of their original work I discovered they never uses) and refused to return it until I got an attorney involved and complained to the ROC. Then they eventually agreed to return it if I remove my review. Now they're ignoring my requests again for the refund so I have no choice but to pursue legal action.

They've incorrectly installed the floors by using shortcuts which causes the floors to pop up. It's been a nightmare as this is my only home and with each screw up I need to uproot my life.

They also removed a material called gypcrete without my authorization. I was led to believe they would be adding gypcrete to replace it but found out they used a cheaper material without telling me. Gypcrete is required by my HOA and now I'm I'm violation of HOA bylaws and CC&Rs.

They've damaged the common areas to the point my HOA sent me a large bill to clean up their mess.

Briana the project manager just makes excuses and has limited willingness or ability to help. All she does is text and when I try to call immediately hangs up and claims to be on a conference call. Hasn't called back despite trying to speak with her for months.

She ignores anything that you say that she doesn't want to address. I've asked for her supervisors contact and she just ignores the requests. Continuously making mistakes and not following manufacturer guidelines

Also caught her contractor stealing cash from my drawer and unplugging my security camera after realizing he was being recorded.

Wouldn't wish this experience in my worst enemy

My experience with MicMar wasn't as good. Started to plan my floor project and demo with them a few months ago. Spent a lot of time and many trips to their office for picking up samples to get the exact floor that we wanted and finally a few months later we were ready to get started. In the meantime we went thru 2 floor estimators (the first one was let go and the 2nd one left the company for medical reasons) and the 3rd estimator was about to cash in on all the hard work that was done by the previous estimator until I was told that he will do me a favor and honor the price that I was giving on the floor a few months ago because the material prices went up since. So just to be clear with his statement I specifically asked him on what he is referring to. Labor prices? Internal material prices? Manufacturer prices? His response was that they are charging me less for labor and the manufacturer increased the prices on the floors we picked out. The only thing he was not aware of is that I spoke directly to the manufacturer prior and specifically asked the regional representative if they increased any pricing on this specific flooring that we picked. His answer was no. When confronting the situation and flat out calling the estimator out on his lie in a chain of emails and I also had the owner Mike copied on the email. I got an answer from the owner right away to apologize for the misunderstanding and asked me how he can help. When I replied and asked him not to insult me with a misunderstanding statement since everything is in black and white on the email chain and challenge him to explain what I misunderstood. He went silent and received an email days later from another person that work there that she is trying to explain that their buying power is not as much and they're a small shop. According to the regional representative they did not increase any prices so I'm not sure where that is coming from.
Bottom line is if you want to get your floors or any demolition done by an honest company that don't lie to try to make a sale look elsewhere. I will NOT recommend them to any of my friends and family and I hope you do the same.
I do understand that they do have to make a profit but try to be honest and don't lie to your customers that are spending a lot of money. Also if they just admit to the lie since everything was documented in an email chain maybe I would have gave them another chance.

Very knowledgeable with excellent options. They spent a lot of time with me and explained the entire process of replacing tile flooring.

They have done many jobs over the years for me and my family! They are awesome to work with!!

Nice feeling about this place

Wow! Wow! WOW! FINALLY..... A company with REAL and TIMELY customer service. I had Chris (owner) come out and measure my home for new LVP flooring. There was a lot of demo work required as well to remove old carpet, glued wood, and tile. Of the three companies I called, only Chris returned my call right away, was here the next day measuring with high-tech laser equipment. The other two came out several days later with tape measures. Chris was very prompt with his highly detailed estimate. We were planning to buy the LVP from Floor and Decor as we had be told they have the best selection and pricing. Chris did not attempt to talk us out of this. He offered to do the install even if we secured the flooring elsewhere but he invited my wife and I to visit his showroom. We did and we found better quality at a $1/sf LESS than Floor and Decor, savings us $1,000. The other two companies never even sent me their estimates! We hired Chris and he kept us informed multiple times a day, when necessary, to ensure we knew exactly what was coming next. The demo was amazing to watch and his folks were VERY tidy and courteous. The new flooring came in one day ahead of schedule and the installation was today. Their prep work and installation was flawless. These installers have been with Chris for more than 10 years and did an outstanding job! I know quality work as I worked construction as a millwork subcontractor for years. Again, great company (father and son business), great installers, very response, very tidy, and kind. I recommend them HIGHLY!

This is an excellent floor covering establishment. They have a HUGE selection to choose from, at all price ranges. Daniel was especially helpful in guiding me through the varieties of carpets and pads, with their respective pros and cons. I may add that the installers were very easy to work with, courteous, and very helpful in restoring the room to its original state. All work and orders actually came in before deadline.

AZ Wood Floor Refinishing has great attention to detail and we were very satisfied with our refinished wood floors. Highly recommend

We have used Hernan’s Custom Tile and Stone several times in the past 6 years. We have had tile flooring installed as well as counter-to-ceiling kitchen backsplash, bathroom tile repair, and a floor-to-ceiling layered stone living room wall. All projects are beautifully done. Hernan and his crew are professional, friendly, and pay a great deal of attention to quality detail work. We always call Hernan for our tile and stonework needs.

We used Tony’s Tile for new flooring, baseboards and door trim. They were very responsive and communicated well as my husband called with many questions all the time. From the beginning of contact to the end we got nothing but great service. Javier did our flooring and did an amazing job. He is very detailed and proficient in how he works. I would highly recommend Tony’s company.
