My bathroom remodel was done during the difficult time of the pandemic when there were supply shortages and workmen shortages. The remodel took longer than anticipated and there were a few glitches along the way. However, I am happy in the long run. Holtzman was very responsive to the issues that occurred and made things right. To me, that is a huge plus for them as a company. Problems and mistakes do happen, but how they are handled is the most important factor.

Steve, the owner came out to our home to give us an estimate for our master bathroom remodeling project that we have been saving up for. I will admit his prices were a tad bit hirer than other contractors that I had met with, but something told me he was the one and as a female you have to go with your intuition. He was very honest & genuine about the whole process and we all know the saying, you get what you pay for and I was willing to pay a little extra for piece of mind during my renovation...and as it turned out that is what I was given, just that. We were just thrilled the outcome of our master bathroom, we couldn't be happier!! I got the (spa-like) bathroom retreat that I always wanted and the whole team from design to the installers did a wonderful job, hence the 5 Stars. I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom!!

Kitchen Renovation Project - Communication was the key as we worked through the surprises and challenges that came up as we progressed through the project. Bobby was there on most days especially when he needed to step in and communicate necessary changes to get the job done properly to our satisfaction. There are many moving parts in construction. What you plan to do today may have some challenges on application and scheduled deliveries which can be out of your project manager’s control. Bobby is sure to update you on any issues so that you are not left scratching your head. He is prompt to return phone calls. At the end, I am quite pleased at the outcome of the build. Yes, I recommend working with this company.

We buit our house with David Mikes. We were worried we wouldn't know how to handle such a large project. Fortunately, we were lucky enough to have David as our contractor.

David would set up weekly meetings with his subcontractor or company contact. We would meet with David and the specialist in the area we were looking at that week. The meetings were always very productive because David was right there helping with decisions, dimensions, architectural plans and logistics to make the process smooth.

I have four other fiends who were building at the same time with other companies. They did not have the same easy experience we had. Most of them had to hire designers and work on their own schedules to make selections needed to move forward in a timely manor.

David was very good about reminding us about costs. He wanted to make sure there were no surprises when we decided to upgrade in many different areas.

We have never had trouble reaching David. He is very prompt in answering phone, texts and emails. He handles situations quickly without any complaint. He has handled the punch list very responsibly. We have no complaints.

Over the building process we also became very good friend's with David Mikes. Through all the many meetings over the build time, he was always very enjoyable to be around. We all have many good memories of building our dream home.

Can’t say enough positive things about Dwell House. They managed my remodel professionally from start to finish. My finished rooms were everything I had hoped for. I hired McCurdy to do TI work for my new small business and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. I had the unusual circumstance of beginning construction right as the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown hit. I was worried that my construction would be significantly impacted, but that didn't happen. They rolled with the punches and adjusted things as necessary to keep the project as on track as possible given the situation. I really appreciated the attention to detail and responsiveness the project coordinator Greg displayed! Any issues that arose were dealt with promptly and fairly. They did my kitchen two years ago.These guys are absolute professionals. The owner and his head guy are very hands-on, and know how a project is supposed to go together. Their knowledge is both broad and deep, as is their technical skill.
Plus, they listened to me, both before and during my renovation, and addressed all my questions and concerns. They also had a number of suggestions that I hadn't considered, some of which we incorporated during construction.
