Anthony worked with our budget. We were remodeling a 35-year-old townhome. Anthony was always responsive and actually came to the location and gave us valuable input that we would not have known regarding location of specific type of drawers in specific locations of the kitchen, best ways to remodel and upgrade bathrooms etc. he was very hands on .

I love my home now that Maxum has replaced all my flooring. I had carpet everywhere now I have beautiful wood like tile throughout. I'm amazed by house big and open it looks now. Great job Maxum!

This company is the greatest they came and helped me fix an old job that was leaking that they had nothing to do with. John and Devin are the greatest people to work with I highly recommend them to anybody either fix something or remodel anyting.

After we bought our first house in Scottsdale, we wanted to work with a home remodeling company that is an expert and they can cover all aspects of what we want in order to renovate the place and make it more modern. We knew there was many options and one of them was Luxury Remodels Company. Although they were quite expensive, we ended up hiring them for the project. Working with their team (Big thanks to Becky and Dave) was an incredible experience, and we knew we had made the right choice for our home. They were very meticulous in the process of design and selections, as well as we were kept well informed thru the entire construction time as our home was being transformed. We had the perfect experience. Eric was incredibly professional. He set realistic expectations, did not over commit and definitely went above and beyond. Our project was completed ahead of schedule. That may not be the case for all their projects, I can assure you they will certainly do their best! Eric was also involved through the entire project. We recently completed our bathroom remodel with McCurdy Construction, and we’re very happy that we did. Leyda Herring McCurdy has an excellent eye for design, and was instrumental in developing out the design of our remodel.

And Rob Lara, one of the best superintendents we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, was on the ball, responsible, communicative, and helpful. He’s one of those “get it done” guys that can tackle anything you set in front of him.

Everything - from design to installation - was professional and in keeping with how we feel a business should be run. Even the follow through with a gift basket hand picked to fit the needs of our growing family was not only appreciated, but cemented our perceptions of McCurdy as a high class operation with integrity.

My wife and I hired Rick to do a major renovation of our home (all bathrooms, garage, kitchen, laundry room, floors, etc.) in February of 2022. Our initial meetings with Rick in January 2022 were great. He was very responsive, friendly, and communicative. That was until we signed a contract with him and paid a $4000 permit retainer. As soon as we paid Rick the communication and proactiveness disappeared. To summarize the details below, it was a nightmare of 8 months just to get a permit approved by the city.
We were told he would have the initial plans ready for us within 2 weeks. It took over 6 weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get him to provide a draft of the remodel design which had numerous mistakes. The following day we sent an email with a list of all the mistakes that needed to be fixed including measurement corrections that I had to take myself.
3 weeks later and no word from Rick, I follow up to check and he indicates that he will be submitting the plans end of the week (April 12th). After many more follow-ups and involving the Refresh Renovations corporate we finally get him to submit the plans to the city on May 13th, 3+ months from signing the contract. Note, the contract indicated that the project would start in mid-April.
The plans that were submitted were riddled with issues and required THREE rounds of corrections! We finally got the permit approved at the beginning of October. Rick provided excuse after excuse throughout the whole process. I have worked with dozens of contractors in the past and Rick and Refresh Renovations were BY FAR THE WORST!
We canceled the build contract and have found much better professionals to complete the elements of the renovation.
