I'm a pretty handy gal but needed some assistance installing a toilet in my guest bathroom upstairs. I cames came in and had installed super quick and hauled away my old toilet. Super happy girl over here!! I was looking for a handyman for awhile and he will be my go-to handyman the next time I need help.

I called John at Arizona Maintenance Service last week to get an estimate to have my back fence painted and a stucco repair on my roof. John scheduled Patrick to come to my home and give an estimate a few days later.

Patrick arrived as scheduled and carefully evaluated the two projects explaining what would be done and how the work would be performed. He was extremely knowledgeable, confident in what he was explaining, and made me very comfortable that had the expertise to do the work.

The job was scheduled for the following week (today, 10/22/2020) and Patrick was on time and immediately began to do the work. It quickly became obvious that Patrick is very experienced and knows exactly what he is doing. His professionalism, attitude, and the energetic way he approached the work was exceptional. He answered all of my many questions without hesitation and, after the job was completed, walked me through each part of the work to ensure that I was totally satisfied - which I was!

Arizona Maintenance Service is a well run company and Patrick, in particular, is an exceedingly talented and very experienced craftsman. The high ratings and reviews the company enjoys are well deserved. I will be using them, and specifically Patrick, in the future for home projects I cannot do myself.

Just had some extensive repairs done on the outside and inside of my house in NW PHX, electrical, plumbing and drywall - I didn't think they would get it all done but they did and it looks great! Specially my pop-outs I added to the windows on the back patio! Really made a difference. And all in good time! Plus did a couple extra diddies that wasn't on the estimate! Two good guys - genuine and honest. Does good work - a good working team. I will definitely hire them again. Thank you Jason and Joe!

I was so fortunate to find Hugo since this was a unique job. My fire pit had a leak in the gas line so the concrete and flagstone had to be cut, an 18 deep trench was dug and the fire pit was cut on the side. After the plumber replaced the gas line, Hugo took over and filled the trench, replaced and repaired the flagstone and concrete and repaired the side of the fire pit so it looks like new. He brought all his own tools and cleaned up each day Hugo arrived each day and worked full days. The plumber was so impressed with Hugo's work that he hired him for a job at his House! I also had Hugo repair the benches with new concrete, stucco and paint. His work is equal to his work ethic, top notch!

Chris is awesome! On time and responds quickly. He fixed my shower and doors. He is very reasonable and I highly recommend him! Thanks Chris!

I have used this company on numerous occasions for various work around not only my properties, but also my Mom and Sisters homes. They are up front honest, reliable (actually show up when they say they will) and they always do great work. Below is an example of a hole in our ceiling that they repaired. Love them.

We recently had an extremely difficult dry wall repair to 14 individual holes in 4 separate rooms in our home. Some of the repairs were up as high as 12ft and behind a toilet and washing machine. Jonah was meticulous and knowledgeable as well as personable. We were more than pleased and satisfied.

Phoenix Handyman Home Repair was really great to work with. Joe answered all my questions prior to setting up our job, arrived on time, did the work in a clean and professional manner, and communicated every step of the way. In fact, he needed to return the next day to paint an exterior surface that he repaired and needed to dry, and he showed up on-time and I did not even need to remind him. I would wholeheartedly recommend this business.

I hired Kent Axtell for a quote for few different repairs, plus I had a roof leak in July of 2018. He rushed over to my house to show up prior to a roofer so he could get the job. I got an estimate to repair a leak, some other miscellaneous repairs, and then coating the roof over my covered patio. Total amount was $790. He took more than 50% up front with a promise to do all the work in two-three days. I had to call and text him to get a response two days later since I never heard from him. He sent subcontractors to do the roof coating the following week (five-six days later than what he originally promised) with no confirmation of the time and day, so I was surprised to see them show up. One of the repairs was sealing folded up shingles, which he laid flat and never sealed, the next storm they folded up again. I had to text him and he came back to do that repair (was a separate line item of $80) The other miscellaneous repairs I had to ask about, and the main issue I had (a leak) was never fixed, despite my specific question if it was done and he said it was. On my invoice that repair was quoted at $250, yet I still have the same exact leak now after a couple of storms. A couple of months has passed because in Arizona, we don't often get storms strong enough to determine whether the leaks still exist. Either it was diagnosed incorrectly or was never done. I requested a refund for the $250 he estimated to fix the leak since the problem is still occurring and I got no response. The entire experience was unprofessional and disappointing, and I felt he didn't actually repair the leak and other minor issues I paid him for. He is extremely nice and responsive until he gets your money. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company.

Could not get through, phone call transferred multiple times, felt like I was at a national warehouse rather than a local business

I would be very wary of using Lundsford handyman services. Read full post for full experience but long story short, we paid up front for 6 interior doors and paint to be installed and now almost 5 months later we have no doors and received only half of our money back and have to look into small claims for the remaining. Multiple no call no shows to at least deliver us our materials so we could find someone else to install plus we offered to pick them up ourselves. Now from this experience I am so worried about hiring anyone else to get our job done this has caused a lot of anxiety. We normally do a lot of DIY but we’re really looking for experienced help which we were told he had to get this one right. This might sound first world problemish but we have a really bad problem with our hollow core doors expanding in summer to the point they scrape really bad or we can’t close them at all which is super difficult with a newborn and we’re so looking forward to having this done. This has been such a negative experience I wonder who else this service has taken advantage of. See below for full experience.

We hired Chase to do a job April 28th and paid for materials up front and labor due upon completion. Scheduled for June 18th after supposed material delivery delays. June 17th I texted confirmation that he would be here next day for install. June 18th he messaged saying some family stuff came up and would update asap. Supposedly then he has had family drama and Covid and his carpenter got Covid (we were not even aware that anyone else was involved to complete our job). Didn’t hear any news back until July 7 that he would deliver our materials to us as soon as he had a truck available (what kind of handyman doesn’t have a truck). I responded my husband has a truck and can pick up our stuff anytime. July 8 he said he will bring that weekend. No response to multiple calls/texts (never answers calls and only texts back days later) until July 14 that will bring everything Monday or Tuesday and complete install the following week. Nothing until July 22 that he will bring the next day. No response to call/text again until July 25 will bring the next day. July 27 will be here Friday. Then Saturday. Then Sunday. Monday I asked for reimbursement if he can’t deliver them. Then looking back I see he ordered per the screenshot sent the wrong size materials ??‍♀️. I finally said we will go route of small claims if he does not reimburse us at this point. He argued he can’t return at this point and that I should have requested reimbursement sooner ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️. This guy has been jerking us around for almost 4 months now. Home Depot said they can give us full store credit if brought without a receipt and can order correct size ourselves. I said we can give one more chance to bring our stuff as promised and we can get our credit ourselves. Supposedly now he already initiated return and needs a few days to scrape together money to reimburse us since can only get 75% refund himself. Also asking not to leave any negative reviews that his life is in shambles. He has been completing and posting other jobs on his Facebook page in the meantime. We received half reimbursement 8/10/22 and other half still not sent to us and it is now 8/24/22
