I'm a house flipper and I found my electrician.

They installed a new box in our garage when we bought a house on Indy's south side about 10 years ago, along with some other installations and updates. We liked them enough that when we remodeled the kitchen about 5 years later, we called them back. On both occasions, they were fast, clean, friendly, and the work was high quality.

Called AGS Electric today and was very happy with the work and price! I previously had two other companies out and their quotes were astronomical. My father in law had suggested what the likely problem was but the other companies showed up prepared to rewire my whole house. And quoted me as such! As a woman I should not feel obligated to have a man in tow every time I need a car repair or a leaky faucet tightened. AGS was very honest and fair. I would definitely recommend them for whatever your electrical needs are. Oh, they also do a number of other home repairs including remodels. I would definitely feel comfortable calling them again! I filed a claim with my home warranty company. It was assigned to this company and they never called to schedule an appointment. When I asked the warranty company to just close the claim or reassign to a different company, hoping for an appointment with someone, the warranty company indicated they could not close or reassign the claim because Raintree had already performed the work and made recommendations to me as the customer. I have never spoken to anyone at this company. I would beware if you are assigned this company through your home warranty. He is a fraudulent!

I've had the worst experience, I'm very, very, disappointed in Robert Poteet, in the summer I had him replace my breaker box, because it needed updated, my house is old. Well after I had gotten home I called him & told him my thermostat was off, did he touch a wire or something because it worked before that!! He didn't say anything, he act like i needed to change thermostat, I said no way not right now, I just pd $1800 for him to do the breaker box& something else in the attic to do w/electrical, now mind u I pd$200 more for him to come to do up in attic, my point is he just wants, wants your money 💰 now I'm without heat, he told me I need a new furnace, he said my furnace was old wasn't worth fixing. My furnace & heat worked just fine last winter. I got a second opinion from a respectable company i explained to him the issue w/ thermostat & electrical he said there wasn't enough power going to the furnace, so basically his screw up on electrical work plus he left the cover off the furnace, wires hanging out everywhere, not very safe! Please don't waste your time or money on him!!! CALL a respectable company. So now I've contacted BBB, called the news stations, I don't Want him to screw anyone else 😡

Allows others to use their license to do work and it’s poor quality, terrible communication

I would 100% recommend for your residential electric needs. Recently, I used them for the second time (at different residences) and they came out the same day to provide an estimate and finished the work the next day. Not only was I appreciative of their punctuality, they were very honest and have competitive pricing. They did not try to sell me on other items I needed to get my house back up and running and simply solved all my needs. I found them very helpful when informing me of the situation regarding my breakers with what the problem was and how it needed to be solved. I will definitely reach out to them in the future for all my electric needs.

Not a good experience at all, I called them 30min after the 8am appointment to ask if they were still planning on coming today to be told “we had a team meeting this morning, they will be there in 15min, it is what it is”. Arrived an hour late and then I come home to this is how they leave the electrical panel. Horrible experience.
