AAA tech came out and informed me that there were some issues with the original install (done by another company) which resulted in a leak in the pipe that fried the system. It could not be repaired but needed to be replaced. Not news I wanted to hear. But the tech was very supportive as he sat me down to explain everything. He provided several options (one more affordable and one more expensive) and answered all of our questions. My sump pump has been replaced and is running well.
