I decided not to have a ceiling fan and a pendent light installed. The $750 price the technician gave me was borderline price gouging! The electrician Union rate is approximately $32 an hour. If Mr. Electric doubled their rate , and charged a minimum of 5 hrs work, it still doesn't come to $750. This is why I wanted an estimate up front. I would have never even wasted my time and money to give y'all a second look. Never again. I will make sure everyone I know is aware of your exorbitant cost for something so basic.

All I did was send them a couple photos and some basic information and they provided me with a quote which I thought was very fair. Before hiring EZ Fix, I failed an electrical inspection with the city of Dallas trying to get electricity into my other half of the warehouse. My warehouse is about 20 feet high and the space I needed to get the permit is about 20K sq. ft. I reached out and spoke with around 4 companies that I previously worked with and decided to try Thumbtack instead. I give Raul and Louis a 10 out of 10. They just completed over $3500 of work at my house. Raul installed 2 fans, 2 carriage lights around my garage door, a new front door light, a motion light in the backyard, 2 sconces on each side of my bed, AND..upgraded our electrical panel so we could switch from a gas stove to an induction range. Louis made this happen within 2 days of calling him and asking him if they could do it. We plan to use Electricowork for more work after the first of the year. Vince was very personable. Licensed MASTER electrician, second generation. This is NOT a handy man saying he can do electrical. With over 25 years in the business, this is your guy for the hard stuff and small stuff. Fair and reasonable pricing. He replaced my electrical panel and brought it up to code, which required moving it. He only had my electric off for several hours. He installed my security cameras and placed the plugs in the tight crawl space in my attic. On time, no surprises and cleans up after the work is done.
