Caddell Electric helped me troubleshoot and repair a damaged line running to an outdoor light and outlet. They also helped me place my new portable AC unit on a separate circuit so it would not affect my computer anymore. The initial estimate was close to $1000 but they worked with me to find another solution that cut the cost in half. They were professional, nice to work with, the pricing was straight-forward, and I believe they were reasonably priced considering the other electricians I had quote for the same work. Mario came out and investigated the whole house and it up finding the power outage was outside and replace my breaker box and got my air conditioner back on and going in my lights and I’m very very happy.

My electrician was terrific . replaced a lot of outdated switches, power panel and made outlets highly protected against water electric shock. Price was right and electrician ought to be considered a craftsman in his attention to details. I'd definite use him again.

After getting three quotes for replacing a outdated breaker box and replacing a loose meter base, Russ Electric got our business. Their price was considerably lower than the other two companies. One of the companies quoted $800 to pull a permit from the City of Garland. Russ Electric took care of it for nowhere near that price.Two of Russ's electricians arrived at the scheduled appointment time. They were both very professional, courteous and friendly. They even agreed to do some last minute additional work that was not quoted and gave a fair price to include it.When they completed the job, the area was cleaned of any debris and sweep. Other than a shiny new cover panel on the breaker box, a wall mounted surge protection unit and properly mounted meter base, there was no trace of them being there.The job was completed within the estimated time, including the additional work and passing the necessary inspection from the city. The only delay was getting the service turned back on by GP&L and it was due to the rainy weather that rolled in later in the day.Russ Electric will get our business in the future.

I had a light fixture install scheduled through Legacy. The tech was scheduled to arrive between 8a-9a and afterwards conduct 4 hrs of work. The tech never showed. I decided to call the main office 30min after the window ended. It turns out the tech had injured his shoulder and they were working to find a replacement but were unable to do so. The tech informed them of the injury at 8am. We called in to check on things at 9:30am. They had 1.5 hours to let us know the status of our work order, but never reached out. Our install also required preparation on our part that involved removed the previous lighting fixtures. But no one contacted us to let us know the job needed a replacement technician and was uncertain or nearly cancelled. Now we are left without lighting in two major areas of our house until we can schedule another company to conduct the work that Legacy committed to doing today. Had they simply contacted us we would have understood, decided on a time to reschedule, and paused on removing the previous light fixtures until then. Instead, Janie, the representative I spoke with on the phone gave an empty apology and then walked it back by saying, I'm sorry you see it that way when I mentioned she could have contacted us earlier to let us know the job status. Poor communication, lacked humility, and very unprofessional. Find someplace else that will hold to commitments or actually communicate in a timely manner if an emergency comes up.

This company is an amazing company and I would recommend them to anyone! I called today to get a quote on some electrical work for a new older house I purchased, but instead of trying to charge me to send someone out to diagnose/appraise the work to be done and potentially charging a service fee on top of that, the gentleman here simply told me what I needed to do to do it myself, since the work I needed done did not require an expert. You don't often find people like this anymore and if I ever have need of an electrician I'll definitely call Puckett!
