Best Smart Lighting System in Chicago IL

Skyline Electric Electrician
Kent is incredibly responsive and was able to make a service call for a ceiling fan repair the same day that I contacted him. He is extremely fast, efficient, and fairly priced. I will definitely use him again, and will be sure to recommend him.

Sims & Sons Electric Electrician
I live in a condo unit that has good bones but has never been updated - ever. So the first step was to update the electrical system. Nate was one of a few electricians I met with to find out what was needed and estimate the cost. He made some really good observations, checked out the existing panel and submitted an the estimate that worked for my budget. He started the following week with another electrician, Graham, and, for about a half day with Christian. … I’m not even sure what they did but Nate, Graham, and Christian, worked over a day and a half on the project. In the end, there was a new, upgraded electrical panel, wires pulled for several outlets and switches. They installed an outlet for a dryer, another for a microwave, light switches with dimmers, GFCI switches, under cabinets lights. These guys were great!Unfortunately drywall will cover all the work. The drywall repairs will be straight forward because the openings were cleanly cut. They covered counters and appliances with plastic, cleaned the workspace each day and took their waste with them. They were respectful, careful, deliberate, and pleasant to work with. I had a chance to talk to the Darryl, the owner, at the end of the job who was as respectful and professional as the crew that worked in my condo. This was a great experience and I’m very happy with the outcome!

A to Z Electric Co. Electrician
Unfortunately, I can't recommend A to Z electric. I called them twice to do a basic service for a rental apartment I own. The first time was to fix an electric issue in the second bedroom. For lights flickering and to fix a CGFI outlet, I was charged 300.00I then called them to re-locate a smoke detector. They re-located the detector (no wiring involved, just unscrewing the detector and re-screwing it higher on the wall). Then without authorizing or confirming with me, they decided to repair existing outlets in bedroom/office repaired for having bad connection. I did not ask them to do this service. On top of this I had already paid them $300 to fix the very same outlets only a week before. Either they did a bad job the week before and are charging me twice for a poor job because why would the electric fail one week later after they repaired it, or they are scammers because they charged me for a repair I did not request. I only requested they moved the smoke detectors. The tenants are very quick to notify me when something is broken and did not complain about any electrical issues. This is basically what everyone warns you about, that a company will make up some fake claim and then charge you for it. To do this bogus job they charged me $315.00This is why on multiple times I asked them to call me when a technician was in the unit to run me through the repairs so I could authorize the repairs. I also asked them to send photos of the repairs/work but they refused and I never received a call, not even to let me know that they were in the unit. Save your money. Unfortunately, a money-hungry company.

Penco Electric, Inc. Electrician
My name is Robert Crokenower in Crestwood. I am a retired senior service manager and have hired, trained, many mechanical technicians. I talked with your service man Jimmy during his maintenance on my Generac full home generator. A service technician must not only really know his trade but personality, and customer communication is critical. Your company has this young man that did a great job, and built even more of my confidence in this younger generation. Your company has a keeper, thank you

Fixer Chicago Electrician
Rescheduled twice. Showed up on time for 3rd appointment. Good professional fan install. Slight overcharge at the end but happy with service. However, will not be my first choice in future due to two missed appointments. Showing up on time the first time is very important to me.
