Due to the storms Tuesday, a neighbor's tree fell in our yard and took down our powerlines and weatherhead. Wednesday morning left us scrambling to find a good electrician on short notice as our ComEd technicians informed us it was on us to have our weatherhead repaired.After calling around to several places that had decent reviews, but couldn't guarantee availability, we received a recommendation from a different electrical service company to contact Boz and co at Highlights. Boz was courteous, and punctual and was able to get to me, give me a fair quote, and have Ben, his electrician, get the repair done by early afternoon.Ben did fantastic, quick work! And the staff at the office was incredibly cordial!All in all, I will definitely be reaching out to Highlights for any future electrical work. When a completely different company recommends another, and they do well priced, fast, professional work, its clear you should continue to work with them always.

Everyone at All Power were very helpful. They came in diagnosed what I needed to replace in an upstairs apartment and then did all the wiring and put up the fixtures.At a reasonable price. They were quick ,clean and courteous. I'm having them come back to finish the second half of the apartment.

Incredible service from the electrician, he really went above and beyond. They were able to accommodate a last minute request SAME DAY!! I was expecting to have to wait much longer, but he was at our apartment within 2-3 hours and done with the job quickly after that. We had a challenging time with old apartment building wiring but the electrician was able to install 3 ceiling fixtures quickly and safely with an eye for detail too. I will 100% use them again in the future and recommend them highly!!

Our fire and carbon monoxide alarm began “chirping” to notify us it had reached its ten year life expectancy. I replaced with a new one, but could not get it working correctly. In addition, my amateur installation tripped a breaker and we were without electricity in part of our home. Sims & Sons came on a Sunday within hours of our call and installed alarm and fixed the breaker. Fast, courteous and reasonably priced. We would highly recommend.

Initial contact with T&D was responsive and flexible, giving me a comprehensive estimate with photos without forcing an initial appointment which I really appreciated. They gave me a lot of flexibility with booking as well. Technician was prompt and professional, gave his expert feedback about placement etc which was very helpful. He also problem solved with some weirdness with steel beams in my walls. Work was fast and done very well, would absolutely use T&D again.

They were fast to respond and schedule. However, it was a complete ripoff for the service provided. They should have been able to identify or try the fix ultimately performed within the visit/ initial diagnostic fee. However, they had us commit to a $400+ job which took less than 30 minutes to do and consisted of only fastening a couple screws in the grounding box outside our garage. All-in $600 for 30 minutes worth of visit/service. Be aware!

On a Friday afternoon our our fuse box was acting up and specifically the fuse wired to our A/C. Timing could not have been any worse as we are in the process of selling our home and had scheduled showings on the next day. After calling several places with no luck, Lucas picked up right away and was at my house in less than an hour. He quickly identified and fixed our issue with the fuse box and also re-installed one of my smoke detectors. Very grateful for his prompt response time and professional work!

The lighting in our family room was limited to a lamp plugged into the wall. We called on a few electricians in Chicago to find out if we could do anything to get a permanent light fixture into the room.
