Best Emergency Electrical Repair in Chicago IL

I recently had STS Electric do some wiring in my home, and they did an outstanding job. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and completed the job on time. Highly recommend!

I needed an electrician for an outlet in my basement because I had just purchased a washer and dryer. Also, my garage needed complete new wiring after a replacement roof, and all the old wiring was gone anyway. I called Highlights Chicago and spoke with Boz, the electrical technician. He came by and analyzed what I needed done and sent me a proposal for both jobs the next day. The price was very reasonable for each but I wanted to start with the basement outlet first, then would decide on the garage afterwards. Needless to say, I was overly impressed with the professional work that was done. So, I called them back right away to have them come back and completely wire up the garage. Boz showed up with Ben, William and Gerardo. I work from home and let them know if they needed me they could call me at any time. Well before I knew it they were done (they are fast as well as efficient) and asked for me to come and take a look at the finished work. Oh my god, I was so happy and excited with the quality of work they did in my garage. My garage lighting looks great and I'm totally satisfied. I was blown away! I now have a go to company for all my electrical needs. LOL. It's very hard to find someone you can trust to come to your property and do what they say they're going to do and actually execute it. But when you do happen to find a company that takes pride in their work, and do a really great job, you'll want to hang on to those companies such as Highlights Chicago. I wouldhighly recommend them to everyone I know. because they do such excellent work.

My dryer broke down one day and I had to hire an electrician immediately. The company sent out Pablo on the go. He very quickly identified the problem, provided an estimate and got to work. Of course when it’s 90 degrees and 100% humidity all of our window AC units suddenly stopped working! Darrell came to our rescue and quickly assessed the circuit breaker and outlets and resolved the issue. I was so impressed that he answered the phone right away and came right over, despite it being 7pm. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to proceed. So thankful we called Sims and Sons!

T&D's work, communication and professionalism totally holds up to the many high reviews they've gotten here and on Yelp. It's why I chose them in the first place, and I wasn't disappointed. They assembled and installed a chandelier into our living room. I was previously told that space had 'old mounts' and it would be difficult to install anything, but these guys (Rodrigo and Keith) handled it easily. They were courteous, respectful, efficient and polite. Really went over the top in terms of service. Very pleased. The office communication was also incredibly thorough and timely. We will absolutely use them in the future for more electrical work.

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED.We called this company to find out why our dishwasher had no power and they told us there is a service fee to come out and diagnose the problem. We asked to double check if that fee was to diagnose the problem and give us a quote and they said yes. To our surprise when their technician arrive, he said the fee is 400 and something dollars to diagnose and give us a quote. We told him that’s not what we were told and asked him to wait on the phone so we can call the dispatch them but he said he’s not waiting and it’s either that or we pay him the $49 dollars.

Great electrician chicago! Professional and personable electricians who took the time to explain all their jobs. The bidding process was very thorough and detailed and all of our options were fully explained to us. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
