I have wanted recessed lights in my home for sometime now. I asked around and Johnathan Brown Electric was recommended to me. I called and set up an appointment for one of their electricians to come out and take a look. The receptionist that answered the phone was polite and friendly! The day before my in-home estimate they emailed to remind me of the appointment. Good communication on their part!
Matthew arrived well within the 2 hour window they had given me. He was also very friendly, professional and polite. After our walkthrough and his recommendations I decided to move forward with the Price he Quoted and he was able to do the installation right then and their! I was very pleased with this and it absolutely met my expectations!
I will mention that because of an old light fixture that was originally placed above my Kitchen sink at the time my home was built there is still a little bit of patch up work to be done on my part to make the necessary repairs. However the work that Matthew did was excellent, he installed 2 ultra thin recessed lights, 1 of which was replacing the old fixture I mentioned and the other one in a spot above the oven where there was no fixture before! he also upgraded 1 of my dimmable light switches in my guest bathroom.
I am so pleased that I have actually already made an additional appointment for him to come and add a recessed light above my newly renovated shower! Matthew definitely knows what he is doing and he does it with ease. At the end of the day I trust him! So thank you!

It’s in our human nature, whenever anyone offenders, treats us poorly, or simply provide poor service we immediately jump to give a bad review. But that’s not the case for this company. From start to finish, Electroman, was very professional. Prior to us having our first initial estimate for the service that I need for my house, Electroman always followed up with me prior to the start date to remind me of our appointment as well as to let me know if there were any changes and so forth. We had to move our appointment date back a week because he was caught up at another job that went longer than expected but he notified me four hours prior to the job being completed so that I can revise my schedule. His courtesy, his business partner Juan, came in on a Friday morning at 8:30am and left before 9:30am, resolving my issue of my power outage in random areas in the house. I was avoiding getting it fix so this problem lasted for a month. He was able to go to the breaker and examine the root issue of the cause and tell me what was going on, educate me, and give me resources so that if this happens in the future we would be better inform as homeowners of any potential power surges. On the way out as he left due to the fact that my patio door was broken, I notified them to be careful because I did not want them to get hurt and they simply had an power drill and a few extra screws and they were able to give me a temporary fix to my patio doors as a curtesy. If this isn’t a small business owner, with a smile,and great work for every single job that you perform then I don’t know what it is. I have been in contact with other electricians and something about them didn’t seem right and I’m glad I waited for this company to come in my house and provide the service. I’ve also had to make many decisions when it has involved other work being done on my house and these are the most genuine people that I’ve seen in a really long time simply because most people who come to perform a service they typically overcharge, do spotty work, and leave you feeling as if you’ve been robbed but not them and I am extremely grateful for their service and I recommend them to anyone who needs the service done to their house. They are not going to charge you simply because you’re not an expert in the field, but they are going to be truthful and give you a sense of peace knowing that once the work is done that you can rest assured that this problem will not rise again within the next couple of weeks because of a poorly performed job. Cory has completely rewired two rental houses for me, replacing old edison fuse boxes with new 200 amp breaker service, complete house wiring and very responsive to on the fly changes. I worked for these guys for a couple days, as a commercial electrician, for $12 an hour, because i was out of work at my main job, and i figured screw it i needed something to put dinner on the table for my wife and 4 kids, till i got to the next job. I had ended up getting a call back from my old job who had more work lined up, so i was obviously going to go back to 21 dollar an hour job vrs this one. I had made a call that friday to the owner to inquire about my paycheck from american tec, and he basically told me that i called them the N word and walked off the job. I believe this was his way out of trying to pay for the work someone else provided. My second day with them i had watched an ex employee of theres show up and lose his cool because they had refused to pay him as well, they in fact called the cops on him instead of making things right.. if this is how they treat there employees, guess how they're going to treat their customers? Stay away from these crooks, because once they screw you, you're just simply screwed
