My main water line from the street busted and had my front yard soaked. I called Michael & Son's and Ed Mc Kinney came and got us water immediately. They ran us a new line from the meter to the house, installed a pressure release valve, cutoff outside the house and added a overflow tank to our water meter. All of the additional work was included without no additional charge. I would use and highly recommend Ed and Michael & Son for future work for myself or anyone needing plumbing repairs.

I called at least 20 companies - HVAC and electricians - to install my new range hood, including an exhaust. No dice until I called K1. Kris came out same day and not only quoted a fair price but he flagged that I need additional components to ensure my range hood worked as intended. I have been using Progressive more and more as they generally don't try to add on a bunch of additional items or charge a fortune. Unfortunately this was the first time both of these happened. Like all of these businesses, the repair people appear friendly and sociable but the lack of transparency in pricing continues and you never know if you actually need the service or if the price was fair. For now my issue seems to be fixed with out the suggest add on (one that has never been mentioned in the 15+ years I've lived here) so I guess that is a plus but I will be trying someone else for plumbing.
