The team showed up when they said they would, conferred with me every step of the way and expertly guided me through the entire process of upgrading and moving my panel, installing recessed lighting throughout the house, putting overhead lighting in the garage, upgrading and adding light switches and outlets throughout, adding sconces on both sides of the garage, upgrading my outdoor security lighting and patching all necessary holes to paint ready condition. Harry and Alex have gone above and beyond with their work. They are great at communicating when and where they will show up, what type of work they have been doing, and what you need to do going forward for maintenance if necessary. When I say they went above and beyond, I mean that my housemate accidentally blew a fuse on New Year's Day, and Harry and Alex were at the house within 15 minutes to identify the issue and fix it, and we haven't had any issues since then. It was incredible. They also handled a potential headache with the permitting office and got everything done quickly and with minimum work on my end. I love their professionalism and will be happy to hire them again.

Byron Tay responded the same day, came on time, gave me a very reasonable price, and did the job fast and with great care and professionalism - even though our house is an older victorian and the wiring is very complicated. We were so impressed by him that we asked him do to a second job while he was here. We had gotten many quotes, mostly ridiculous prices and/or requirements by the electricians (many of them unlicensed, by the way; Byron Tay is licensed, insured and bonded). Byron was no-nonsense, and kept to his word. We will hire him for any electrical job going forward.

As a bldg manager of multiple units I’ve had my share of electrical issues n varied electricians I’ve worked with but the team at mega electric displayed professional and attention to details throughout the entire process on working with our units. I am getting natural gas out of my 1920s home, and Eric from All-Electric California helped me game out what I needed to do with my electric panels to 1) get up to code and modern safety standards, and 2) prepare for my next few steps of installing heat pump HVAC, heat pump hot water, EV charger, and electric fireplace insert. My panel and sub panel were mysterious, often labeled incorrectly, and even had arcing happening in a troubled switch. Eric helped me fit all my needs into my 100 amp panel without upgrading my service from the street. It was great to find a knowledgeable contractor who understood my vision and helped me make it happen!

Art was excellent. He got the job done very quickly and also was able to give an estimate on the spot for another job. He gave me some professional advice on the lighting in the new apartment as well. I followed his advice and the place looks great. I would highly recommend him. Very professional.

I have had 2 projects done by BV electric in last year. The first time they installed underground wiring to my garage for an EV and recently they installed an electrical panel and upgraded my service to 200A. The field manager Sam Castillo is fantastic! He is extremely knowledgable, patient, and reasonable. His team (Namanja for the underground cables and Jonny and crew for the panel) are professional, courteous, and clean. Jonny and his team did a lot of work removing older indoor panels, rewiring, etc. and I would highly recommend them. They were punctual, prepared, and cleaned up after themselves. So why the 4 stars - the front office at BV electric is a bit clueless. They want to only communicate by email (even though they send texts for scheduling etc.) and are often not sure what the field team is doing or supposed to do.

This guy did a very professional job regarding the repair of my wiring that was overheated. He was very accommodating and considerate while he was at my house working. He never tried to sell me something I don't need or charge me for things I don't need. I am very excited to work with this company in the future. Highly recommended!

Avi has done several jobs for me including main and sub panel replacement as well as adding various lights and outlets in/out of my garage. I couldn’t be happier with his work. He’s responsive, reasonable and professional. He even went above and beyond to paint any existing piping or wires he added around the house. I highly recommend Avi and looking forward to working with him again in the future.

We hired Ricky to install a couple outlets for us, both indoor and outdoor. He was really careful to explain options and potential obstacles with our old Oakland house. He did a good job and left the area neat. Will definitely call him again.

Never showed up.... first time they said there was a work emergency, then he was going on vacation, so he was going to send one of his guys out. He scheduled another walkthrough and... he never showed up. I called and texted him to see what happened, he said he emailed me. Turns out they never had our email so lied about that, then even though confirmed via text and they never showed up he called me rude for being hesitant about rescheduling a third time. So I had to leave this review. Unfortunate.
