I had a problem with my circuit breaker, so I called Eddie. He answered the phone right away on a Sunday and asked me clearly what was the problem.

He asked me to send a photo of the circuit breaker panels, and instructed me to fix the problem at no charge!!

The problem was fixed quickly and he called me back to make sure everything was ok.

We have worked with Hector Escamilla for about three years now, as he has done three major jobs for us during that time. Hector and his team recently completed a nearly-complete rewiring of two flats in SF to eliminate all existing knob and tube wiring. Very knowledgeable, and they do excellent work. I strongly recommend Altos Electric for your home projects. I chose Altos Electric because I was referred to them by a plumbing company, and they did a great job with the project I needed them for. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time, conducted themselves professionally while onsite, and were easy to communicate with. Also, they were responsive when I asked for help with an additional small project, providing links to the products that I would need to purchase and then getting the job done.

Very professional & high quality install but extremely pricey. I paid $850 to turn a single 220v outlet into two 110v outlets. The work was quoted to take 3 hours, took about 40 minutes. The electrician was extremely knowledgeable. I asked over the phone for an estimate and I was told a story about how replacing an outlet cost about $150 2 years ago, which gave me confidence in a reasonable price. Wish I could have gotten a few more bids on the project.
