Best New Construction in San Francisco CA

I recently got a bid for a project from a different electrical company that I was very unhappy with. Not only was the quote very high, but their suggested approach was extremely complex and would have involved tearing down walls and tearing my yard.

Then I remembered that I'd had a positive experience with Chasov Electric several years ago so I reached out. Michael came out to inspect our property and immediately proposed a much simpler and more cost effective solution. He took photos on his tablet and sent mockups of his proposed design in advance.

Harry and Alex completed the project and they were delightful to work with. They arrived on time, confirmed details and decisions with me throughout the day, and carefully inspected all their work prior to departing. I'm very happy with how the work turned out.

Byron Tay responded the same day, came on time, gave me a very reasonable price, and did the job fast and with great care and professionalism - even though our house is an older victorian and the wiring is very complicated. We were so impressed by him that we asked him do to a second job while he was here. We had gotten many quotes, mostly ridiculous prices and/or requirements by the electricians (many of them unlicensed, by the way; Byron Tay is licensed, insured and bonded). Byron was no-nonsense, and kept to his word. We will hire him for any electrical job going forward.

Art came over and replaced my outdoor electrical outlet. He doesn’t scrimp on quality materials and when the store didn’t have a metal cover (all they carried was plastic which lets in UV light and causes the problem we had in the first place) he showed me what to order on Amazon and when it arrives, he will come over and install it free of charge.

I'm so happy I called Eddie. I was having issues with a short circuit, and he walked me through the issue over the phone, saving me a site visit and lots of headache. He knows his stuff, was very patient, and helped me get my electrical issue quickly resolved. I haven't had any issues since. Val Dimitrov of Value Electrical Construction did a fantastic job with a complex electrical job. I added 2 rooms and a bathroom in a San Francisco home, and it is very difficult to go through the mundane bureaucratic San Francisco city process of electrical permits and approval throughout the process from start to finish, which requires multiple approvals through the entire process. Val was thorough in the work performed by him and his team and from the initial city approvals, opening of the walls and the completion of the project that was approved by the city of San Francisco with all permits. Great Job Val!

Never showed up.... first time they said there was a work emergency, then he was going on vacation, so he was going to send one of his guys out. He scheduled another walkthrough and... he never showed up. I called and texted him to see what happened, he said he emailed me. Turns out they never had our email so lied about that, then even though confirmed via text and they never showed up he called me rude for being hesitant about rescheduling a third time. So I had to leave this review. Unfortunate.
