Byron Tay responded the same day, came on time, gave me a very reasonable price, and did the job fast and with great care and professionalism - even though our house is an older victorian and the wiring is very complicated. We were so impressed by him that we asked him do to a second job while he was here. We had gotten many quotes, mostly ridiculous prices and/or requirements by the electricians (many of them unlicensed, by the way; Byron Tay is licensed, insured and bonded). Byron was no-nonsense, and kept to his word. We will hire him for any electrical job going forward.

When I called Art on a Saturday, it was supposed to be a day off for him. Nonetheless, he squeezed me into his schedule (and two other clients as well). He came right over to check on the safety of a variety of electrical outlets, lighting choices room by room, doorbell malfunctions, voltage needs, possible design re-considerations for a more pleasant environment, and more. Super punctual, nice, and didn’t take long at all. You never know what kind of service you’ll get with a property management vendor but I’m really pleased that my building contracts with Century Electric.

Never showed up.... first time they said there was a work emergency, then he was going on vacation, so he was going to send one of his guys out. He scheduled another walkthrough and... he never showed up. I called and texted him to see what happened, he said he emailed me. Turns out they never had our email so lied about that, then even though confirmed via text and they never showed up he called me rude for being hesitant about rescheduling a third time. So I had to leave this review. Unfortunate.
