The team showed up when they said they would, conferred with me every step of the way and expertly guided me through the entire process of upgrading and moving my panel, installing recessed lighting throughout the house, putting overhead lighting in the garage, upgrading and adding light switches and outlets throughout, adding sconces on both sides of the garage, upgrading my outdoor security lighting and patching all necessary holes to paint ready condition. Byron Tay responded the same day, came on time, gave me a very reasonable price, and did the job fast and with great care and professionalism - even though our house is an older victorian and the wiring is very complicated. We were so impressed by him that we asked him do to a second job while he was here. We had gotten many quotes, mostly ridiculous prices and/or requirements by the electricians (many of them unlicensed, by the way; Byron Tay is licensed, insured and bonded). Byron was no-nonsense, and kept to his word. We will hire him for any electrical job going forward.

Very overpriced: quoted me $200 per light for installing two fixtures (~30 minutes of work for $400), even after I had already set up by turning off the breaker, removing the old fixtures from the ceiling, etc.

They charged me $89 for the house call (which I had agreed to beforehand). In retrospect, I should have pushed harder for a quote over the phone. Other electricians were willing to give quotes based on pictures, etc., so this clearly exists just to make money.

Once the electrician showed up, it felt that he didn't think it was worth his time and just wanted the $89 house call fee, so quoted an excessively high price just to end the visit.

Sergio & his team do phenomenal work and have been regular electrical contractors for both our HOA and for my extended family. He was able to scope and deliver a very complex EV charger project involving splicing new subpanel for all units in our building and then wiring each parking spot to be EV ready. His team completed all of the work extremely efficiently, pulled permits and coordinated inspections, and delivered the full project on a quick timeline and within budget. He also helped to repair our aging heating elements and wired our new appliance system. I would highly recommend Sergio and his team for any electrician project - they are the best!
