My first review was 5 stars-A+ service from start to finish! Needed electrical work for a hot tub. Daryl and his guys were great-very responsive and professional.Update 7/18/18-Needed am electrician when a breaker tripped and wouldn’t reset. Having been so pleased with my previous experience, I called Daryl and he quickly set up an appointment for the next day. The men arrived but I was shocked that the diagnostic fee was $256 as well as a $69 service charge. I went ahead and paid it. They spent 5 minutes and determined the breaker was being tripped by the new lightbulbs in my ceiling fan. They put the old ones back in and the breaker reset. Living on a budget, I was horrified that I had just paid $330 for 5 minutes of “work” and just replacing old bulbs. That kind of troubleshooting could have been suggested over the phone. I called Daryl to express my disappointment and the fact that I would not be using him or recommending him again. He asked what he could do to rectify the situation and make me a happy customer. I suggested refunding the diagnostic fee. He said he hadn’t yet spoken with his guys. To let him talk to them and then he would call me back. After a few minutes, Daryl called back and said his guys HAD diagnosed the problem-yada yada. I had agreed to the fees. I went outside and paid the men-because that is the kind of person I am. But in my heart, I feel it was wrong not to just make $69 for the 5 minutes and do the right.
