Lauterborn Electric Electrician
Our home had an electrical box from the 60's which was likely the same time as when the service wires from the street were installed. In the middle of a Sunday night I was woken up by a loud bang and all of our lights flickering. I went to the basement to find the wires entering the house scorched, smoking, and buzzing. Since the wires in the wall were still live, we shut the power off to the house. I spent the rest of the night with a flashlight, fire extinguisher, and googling local electricians.Since this was an emergency situation I called several electricians the next morning with the hope someone would get back to me asap. Lauterborn Electric had great reviews and even had examples of our exact issue on their website so my hope was to get through to them. One of the reviews had mentioned to call the mobile # for Lauterborn and to not be discouraged if you went to the voicemail because Larry, the owner, would call you back in a few minutes. Sure enough, this is exactly what happened. I left a voicemail and he called me back within 5 minutes. No other electrician called me back, still hasn't.Larry was very friendly, listened to my issues, and said he would be out that afternoon to look into it. Him and his son Larry showed up, assessed the wires, let me know exactly what I needed and the exact cost it would be and that they could get it done the next day. They also cut the lines to the house so I didn't have a live wire in my wall over night.Sure enough, they showed up when they said they would the next day and finished everything up by that afternoon. Larry and his sons were very courteous, kept the work space clean, and took any residual trash with them.I have some electrical knowledge so I can tell you the work they did was beyond exceptional, they built a wall for the new service box and meter, they installed all of our existing circuits into the new box extremely neatly, they properly grounded everything with the cold water line and a ground rod (which you don't typically have in older row homes), weather proofed and protected the service line from the street all the way down and into the house, and did it all at a great price.I can't say enough good things about these guys. Larry said they do work all over, but we're in Port Richmond so they're local and will be who we call for any electrical work in the future. Thanks again Larry.

iTech Electric Electrician
Tony and his team (Edison and another guy whose name I did not catch) were great. They were quick to schedule, troubleshot the nuances of my job, were very professional, and 40% cheaper than the other bids I received for the same work. Highly recommend.

Brandon Electric, Inc. Electrician
Update to my original posting this morning. Today I received a call from the owner Jeff and he advised me there was an inadvertent overcharge as he thought 2 GFI/Switchs and bubblecovers were purchased and installed during the Worker's visit. He apologized and said he noticed it when he processed my payment today and reviewed the invoice. His call and response was professional and the right thing to do. He is correcting the charge error as well. Therefore, I am satisfied with the outcome and appreciate his actions.

Eagle Electric Electrician
I had an electric issue in my rental property. Eagle Electric guy came to my property, didn't even look at the basement electric box or wires, didn't really check anything (he was scared of the dog) , and when I spoke to the manager on the phone, afterwards, he said it will be $4500 (!!!) to repair the issue - to upgrade the box, to add three more electrical lines. I said it was crazy. How about not upgrading the box? He said it will be $1600 just to add extra lines. I thought that was overpriced too. I did more research and found another certified guy who fixed the issue for $360. Everything works now.Bottom line, if u want to throw your money away, by all means call this company. What they do they try to squeeze as much money out of u as they possibly can, not trying to be fair or economical, very dishonest and unprofessional.

Thomas Edison Electric Inc. Electrician
I had a room breaker go out and needed a fixture switched from gcfi to a regular outlet. The fix was pushing the breaker button and then switching out the outlet. I had a few concerns post install but had a lightening fast follow up after I filled out my survey and they quickly resolved my issues above my expectations.
