During the last ice storm we had here in Oklahoma City, my home experienced some major damage due to trees falling. One tree split in half taking the power lines down along with the electric meter, cable, phone boxes and some wood off the back of my home! No power and its 35 degrees outside on a Thanksgiving holiday weekend! Call after call I made trying to find someone who could make an emergency stop to my house. When I reached Mr. Toby Striegel through an internet search with Networx, he was just finishing another job and could head to my house almost immediately! By the time I then called my insurance company to file the claim Mr. Striegel had arrived and was there while I was on the phone with them. They authorized the emergency repairs and Toby went to work. Now, keep in mind this is a holiday, Thanksgiving and on a Saturday! Toby worked all day Saturday well into the dark of night. He returned early on Sunday and worked all day to restore my power. He was so efficient and thorough that he found several City Codes that had changed and included the updates as required by law. He then flagged down our local Electric Company, OG&E and was able to convince them to stop at my house and get me hooked back up. (They were only working on main lines they originally said, but Toby came through once again and they stopped.) I will continue to use Mr. Striegel in the future and will recommend him to everyone I know! He is a true professional! Thank you again Toby!!

Update: 2020

Wow! Almost 5 years to the day, another OKC Ice storm! And once again, tree limbs have fallen, power lines were down. One call to Toby @ EXPERTech Electric and everything is fixed! Truly amazing work! If you need help, this is who you call!

Grider Electric has always done exactly what I wanted done with reasonable prices, excellent service, and technicians who are kind, respectful, and punctual. Grider is excellent!

Mike & Todd were very professional and knowledgeable. They worked hard all day in the scorching heat upgrading our electric panel and making electrical repairs in our well house and upgrading an underground junction box. They showed up on time with everything they needed to complete the job and cleaned everything up before they left. Thanks for a job well done! We worked with Rebeca to help us with getting quote. Our breaker box burned out on a Saturday. Rebecca listened to our issues and asked for pictures so she can get a quote for the fix by Monday morning. She was very helpful. Respectful, high quality and good attitude!

Dylan completed the electrical work needed for our hot tub! He was professional, detailed, organized and very knowledgeable. I was impressed with how how neat the wiring looked. We had a minor electrical fire late on a Saturday night. Our neighbor, a retired fire marshal, came over and did a safety check to make sure our home was safe to sleep in and correct breakers were off. He recommended Edge Electric and suggested calling them Sunday morning. We called first thing Sunday, and within an hour Doug was at our home.He was friendly, polite, and professional,. Doug assessed the issue, explained what happened, and offered to fix it for a very fair price for a Sunday call. Doug completed the work, cleaned the wall near the fire, and the switch, and was mindful about not touching anything else with the black smudge on his hands until he washed them.Doug took time to answer our questions, and was patient and mindful to explain how these things happen. In our case it was because someone did shoddy work while building the house. He checked our breaker box for other potential issues and found none. Doug made sure all the effected areas were operational and we were pleased with the work.Doug, and Edge Electric, took what was a very alarming and unsettling experience and resolved the issue in a prompt, professional manner. For these reasons I recommend Doug, and Edge Electric, without reservation.

Mike made sure to explain everything clearly, making sure I was comfortable with the process once in my home. He was also very safety-conscious, which put me at ease. They came to my house in order to “give me a quote” but I never heard back from them even after I followed up with them asking when I could expect a quote.
Seems super unprofessional and disrespectful to come into someone’s home and not even give a quote.

Went through my whole house told me entirely everything that was wrong all the way to a lightbulb being out and all I wanted was a doorbell put in I think my quote was $3,000 all I wanted was a doorbell wow I just wish they could have come out and fix the doorbell it cost me $29 for the service call or $25 whatever it was but I just wish all he had to do is replace a transformer and fix and the doorbell where to work but instead of making $50 on a transformer he wanted that 3,000 I don't think that's fair now we're in the den we cannot hear nobody knock at our door the doorbell still don't work and I don't understand why he just couldn't come out what I called for I called to say hey I need a transformer replace front doorbell and now I don't even have a doorbell everybody is knocking and I can't even hear it I just wish he would have replaced the transformer what I called you people for it's too sad too bad have a good day very disgusted customer

They claimed that my entire electrical system wasn't to code, shouldn't have passed inspection and needed to be replaced.
My house doesn't meet current codes, but it was to code when it was built, as such it's grandfathered in.
They tried to get me to replace everything for $10,000. I got a second opinion and had the real problem fixed for $300
