This was by far the best electrician service I have used in the city. Scheduling was easy and the electricians came the following business day. What was supposed to be a quick project ended up taking over two hours, and they stayed until the job was complete despite the difficulties. I needed a new ceiling light installed where there was no receptacle which required running a new electrical line to the ceiling and a new wall switch behind an enclosed wall. I called several electricians that my building manager referred me to, but the 4-5 hour job was too small or they could not get to it for months. I found Emco and decided to give them a call. The team was very responsive in getting the job quoted and scheduled, but the best surprise of the job was their meticulous work and attention to detail, from prepping the site to prevent any damage to minimizing the inevitable patchwork required after the work was done. I will definitely turn to Emco for my future electrical projects.

I needed some electrical work in a commercial space completed right away. I called in the morning and YORK had someone out to my space in the afternoon. Tommy provided prompt and solid service as well as some very friendly conversation. He not only fixed the issue I called him about but he identified the root cause of our circuit breaker failures and suggested installing some service switches to prevent future failures. He said he will return in 48 hours to do the installation. I will definitely call him again when we have electrical issues. Highly recommended service.

Our home is around 60 years old. Unnecessary to say there have been various changes that have been done to the electrical system over this time. We were looking to wrap up the basement inevitably, and as we examined what was down there, we found leftovers of knob and tube and way as well numerous junction boxes, clearly far from perfect. Besides, the crew came in and settled everything. They were professional and knowledgeable, gave us many great recommendations, were courteous, and treated the house as if it were theirs. Installed two ceiling fans for me. Both rooms and no previous light fixtures so boxes were installed also. Edgar was a pleasure to work with. Dave who helped was nice as well. They were thorough and cleaned. Will be using them again.
