Best Commercial Renovation in New York NY

We ended up moving into our home and found out our dryer outlet was 3 prongs and dryer plug was 4 prongs. We called as an emergency to get this fixed as it was a Saturday afternoon and they were at our house within an hour. Our technician Tony was amazing! I recently moved into an apartment and discovered to my dismay that two rooms did not have power. I called YT Electrical and Yordanys came over immediately-- and took one look at the panel and said, oh no, that's a Federal Pacific panel. Google it and you will see what is wrong. So I did, and my heart sank-- I cursed myself for not having done a proper inspection (everything seemed fine before I moved in), and wondered whether I was looking at a massive, five-figure job that I would not be able to afford. My wife was even unhappier.

But it now appears that I called the best electrician on the planet. Yordanys and his brother Dayan replaced the 80-year-old panel, which was absurdly placed over an entry-hall closet and required a new location (hence, cutting into the wall), then installed four lighting fixtures, repaired a couple of nonfunctional outlets, and replaced two unsafe outlets (kitchen, bathroom, GFCI). And that is not all! They also fixed the problem that had led to two rooms losing power (the previous tenant had screwed up when removing a light fixture, as if things were not bad enough already), and Yordanys actually bought us a great fixture for the kitchen after we had failed to find something we liked. When that was all done (over a day and a half), Dayan stuck around and hung two large, heavy mirrors for us-- then offered to drive me to Best Buy, pick up a TV, and mount it on the wall. We can't believe the amount of work all this entailed-- and the fact that the total cost was about half of what we had expected. Last but not least, Yordanys himself is not only highly professional but considerate and personable as well. Rewiring an old apartment is usually hell, but this turned out to be one of the most pleasant and satisfying transactions we have ever experienced. We are telling everyone we know in New York-- if you need a skilled electrician, call YT Electrical!

I contacted Titanium Electrical Corp. them for an electrical outage issue and was told to send pictures. I took the time & energy to send pics and follow up. After repeated attempts to contact them, they decided to just ignore me. I won't be contacting this company again.

We called Ceriello to troubleshoot a possible phase out in our building. Nick came by, assessed the problem and persisted despite running into a few dead ends. He was helpful and walked me through potential issues, connected me with people in the office, and they handled all of the communication with ConEd until my repair was complete. At the end of the day, it was a ConEd issue, for which we are being reimbursed by ConEd, but Ceriello's expertise and knowledge was invaluable.

Great team, great work..

We were fooled by the high Yelp rating. BUYER BEWARE. TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS, hack plumbers and electricians. Make sure you scroll down to bottom of the reviews page to click on '41 other reviews that are not currently recommended'. Somehow this way their bad reviews are hidden. We hired Ricardo and Dinesh to relocate our gas and water lines and add electric to build a brand new kitchen. Plumber license 1504 belongs to a master plumber called Johnny (Johnny P&H contrac inc). CN hides this as he has terrible reviews!

1. Ricardo sold us on the idea that they have done this before and would drill holes through the center of the floor joists according to DOB code to move the lines but instead they cut 12 inches by 3 inch deep cuts on the top of structural floor joists, and several holes for electrical totally illegal and not to code and dangerous. My husband knows the building codes, and was shocked to see this so he brought in a structural engineer who said the floors are compromised and unsafe and not to let them even touch the joists any further. When my husband questioned Ricardo, he became aggressive and said drilling holes through the joists would require much more labor and materials, but that is what we had paid him a lot of money for!!! Now we are spending thousands of dollars getting it fixed. THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF EVEN BASIC NYC BUILDING CODES. See the pics, THEY BOTCHED 10 structural joists in the living room.

2. They cut the ceiling of our downstairs neighbor, left early without informing my husband. Our neighbor was furious, and when my husband called Dinesh, he made up LIES AND EXCUSES acting like he didn't know what happened.

LASTLY #3 - They illegally shut off gas meters without immediately notifying DOB & Con Edison of gas leaks which is required by law and waited 1 week to notify DOB & Con Edison because they were trying to sell the co-op board on a $91,000 solution to fix the basement and when the board asked them for more documentation and details after a walkthrough on Friday at 5:30 PM, they knew they couldn't provide legal documentation and continue the scam of the co-op so they immediately notified DOB & Con Edison only for them to come on Friday night at 8:30 PM to shut off gas for the whole building BEFORE THE SNOWSTORM.

I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TACTICS AND USE SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOUR PROJECT.

Fast (came in to take a look Friday, scheduled service for Tuesday), efficient (only took an hour) and knowledgeable (could identify the problem immediately). Would definitely work with the Axcel team again.
