Over the New Year weekend late at night, we got hit with a double issue. One was an outdated faulty circuit panel and breakers which tripped and the other was the central heater circuit board getting fried causing an electrical fire sending smoke and burning metal smell throughout the house via the air ducts. We called 911 and the firemen shut the main advising to call a licensed electrician to investigate the issue and perform the necessary repair work. Here we are on New Year’s weekend, with no power with our insulin in the fridge desperately trying to keep it cool so it does not go bad. If it did, we would have had a larger issue to deal with.
We called several electricians that night advertising emergency 24/7 services and each one said they cannot make it to us due to the holiday or it went to an operator who took down our information and offered to call us back when they located someone who can help. When we called YT Electrical Services, the owner picked up right away. We explained the situation and advised that we are diabetics and have insulin in the fridge that needs to stay cold. YT promised to send someone out to us first thing in the morning and true to his word, sent Ramon who stabilized our power and identified the source of the problem. He worked several hours and both he and YT stayed in contact with us explaining everything each step of the way.
Even though they stabilized us, we still needed to upgrade the circuit panel and breakers to a new one to prevent another issue from happening down the road. YT offered to assist with that and provided us options. YT personally came to our house that day to inspect the work and to discuss next steps. He then performed an act of kindness that we didn’t expect. YT took out his wallet and offered to pay for whatever we needed to secure our insulin, so it does not spoil. This one act of kindness brought the human factor into equation and made us feel valued and appreciated. Combined with the excellent service provided so far, we agreed to give him the business of upgrading our electrical panned to a brand new one. Same day, Ramon came back with all the supplies and began working all through the day into the late hours. By the end of the day, everything was completed.
This was our New Years’ experience and thankful we found YT Electrical Services. We recommend their services 100%. Hope this helps you in your search for a top tier electrician.

I needed to update to circuit breakers and do some additional electrical work and my neighbor recommended York. I contacted them and Dennis came up right away to assess the situation. I had a proposal that same day. I needed to get approval from my coop before I could do the work. Dennis gave me all the information necessary to get approval and do the job. They finished today and did a great job. They are very professional and know what they are doing. They also make sure that everything is cleaned up before they leave. I highly recommend them.

Terrible work. We had them replace the buzzer and intercom system for our building. The system continually shorted out every few months. Each time that they made repairs, the system only lasted for a few weeks before it shorted out again. The final time it shorted out, they told us that we were no longer under warranty, and that a real fix would require re-wiring work and twice as much money. When informed that they had initially told us the opposite (i.e., that the system could simply be replaced without re-wiring), they lied and said that they had recommended re-wiring from the beginning. They were also rude the entire time.

I had an issue with my electric baseboard heater and had an electrician come out who misdiagnosed the issue and then tried to charge me an insane amount for an issue that wasn't fixed. We then looked for another electrician near me and found these guys, and they were amazing. Their tech was able to diagnose the issue immediately and fix the problem. We even had them take a look at a few other smaller items around the townhouse that they were able to fix. Will definitely be using them again for any future needs!

He explained the steps involved in moving a socket from one room to another clearly -- once for me and again for my wife -- so that we understood technical aspects electrical installations that are unfamiliar to us.

He kept his appointments .

He worked steadily during his visits.

Mr. Franklin helped us hang the television wall stand which was not part of the original job description.
