I had them come out to give me an estimate for a project. The electrician talked to me about the project, measured, had me pay for the estimate, and said someone would call with the pricing in a few days. I didn't hear from the company so I called them. The person on the phone said they didn't get the paperwork from the electrician so they couldn't give me an estimate. (Family emergency, I don't fault them for that.) I had a copy of the paperwork and offered to read the measurements but was told the paper I had was useless and he couldn't give me an estimate based on it. I called a few more times after this and left messages to see if they ever got the paperwork they needed from the electrician but didn't hear back.
I ended up filing a claim with my credit card to dispute the charge since I paid for a service that I never received. In the middle of this dispute, they sent a bill marked overdue to my mother (who owns the house I live in). The credit card company ruled in favor of Bates Electric because I signed a receipt agreeing to the charge. I only agreed to the charge because they were supposed to call me with the estimate. I still haven't received an estimate, this project started in May. They were more responsive to Chase during the dispute than they were to me when I was trying to get what I paid for.
I paid $180 for an estimate I never received.

My experience with Hiller was phenomenal. I called them early in the morning after waking up to a home without AC and they were able to squeeze me in in less than 2 hours. The technician who showed up, Chad, was extremely professional and was quick and efficient in his services. He identified the issue in no time and repaired my unit at the lowest cost to me. In the past I have been skeptical about using the biggest name in the industry but not this time. There’s a reason Hiller is number 1 in Nashville!

I called Royalty Electric at about 3 pm because I had an electrical issue and was without power. The problem was fixed by 5 pm!! Amazing service, so fast and professional! I’ll never call anyone else with my electrical needs!

Real pros

The pipe by my garbage disposal unit cracked and Hoffman Brothers was able to send someone out the next business day to repair it. Tyler was professional, and explained the services well. He was courteous, speedy, and did a great job. I will definitely use this company again should I have any more plumbing problems.
