I had an odd electrical issue a couple days ago and called Express Electrical Services and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The dispatch office kept me informed of when they were coming and any updates via text. The technician that came out, Franco Magdaleno, was prompt and thorough. I was presented with what it would take to fix it and also an option to upgrade and get it done right. I chose to go with the full fix and Franco and his team had it done 2 days later. Outstanding quality work! I wish I had this kind of performance all the time!

Almost impossible to believe--charged me $890 for a job I learned later could have been accomplished by changing to a different kind of bulb! The tipoff to their suspect way of business is that they refuse to give breakdowns. That means you never know what you paid for materials and what you paid for labor. It's in their contract, but they didn't show me the contract until after the work was done. That's when I saw no breakdowns. Had they dealt honestly and let me see that at the start, I would NEVER have hired them. I have researched and now know the materials cost under $50 and so the $840 was for about two hours work.
$420 an hour, not bad. Demand the contract first. See where it says no breakdowns, and say Goodbye.
