We should have waited for Alex! Another company came by, fiddled with this and that for about an hour and “assessed “ the intermittent connection issue, applied some electrical tape, and overcharged us for the privilege. Alex came by, asked direct questions, listened intently, checked the panel, focused on the exterior connector, assessed the issue within minutes, advised us to call DWP and didn’t charge us for his valuable time and expertise. Who does that??? Alex, that’s who! Thank you Alex!

These guys are a class A operation all the way. I've owned/operated a home automation company in Los Angeles for the past 16 years, and so have worked with a number of different electricians. Last week, my wife and I were faced with a major electrical mess at a property we recently purchased. Since my usual go-to guys weren't available, my wife found Power Up Electric on Angie's List and asked me to call them for a quote. It was the best phone call I've made in a long time. I immediately felt like a VIP customer and was given an appointment the same day for a walk through and consultation. Gabriel, the owner, showed up himself for the consultation. He addressed all of my concerns and I was provided with a competitive not-to-exceed quote at the end of the walk through. When an unforeseen issue came up which was technically part of the project scope but was also extra work which wasn't accounted for, Gabriel and his team took care of it with a smile (and no additional charge). They even made a couple last-minute changes for us without adding change orders. After signing a lease on a new warehouse it was time to get the electrical work done. To my surprise all the quotes I was getting were saying four days of work and more money then I thought reasonable. Luckily I eventually called Express Electrical and was put in touch with Franco. Thankfully he is honest, respectful and fair. His pricing was were it should be and he told me he’d have the work done in one day. I doubted him saying everyone else needed four days (and thousands more in money). He explained the job to me, what he would do and that he could do it and do it right and all within a single day!!! My gut trusted him so I hired him for the job. Franco showed up on Monday as planned and not only did he do the job in one day, he did EXCELLENT work. Very professional. Very clean. I couldn’t find one thing to complain about. The conduit bends are perfect. Labeling of the panels, etc etc, so if you ever need fair honest electrical work then hire Express Electrical. And you can’t go wrong asking for Franco! I’m glad I kept calling. I have saved their info in my phone. Express Electrical is now my go to company for all electrical needs.

A Custom Electric installed our whole stage lighting for our Pasadena community center. They installed the lights, and the control panel. They have been back since to check the safety of each light and inspect the control panel. They are competent, creative, helpful and perfectionists. We couldn't have had a better experience with them.
