I assume they have astronomical rates for a reason. I called for quote to install a power outlet inside my home, fully aware of the quote fee. The electrician shows up and quotes me $450.00 for the job. $450.00 for a simple indoor power outlet. Doesn’t offer an explanation as the why it’s so expensive but happily takes the quote fee and leaves. I’ve contacted another business that quoted the job at half the cost since dealing with this. Just be warned that they price gouge and have no qualms scaring customers away with their ridiculous quotes, just to collect there quote fee.

The technician was knowledgeable and fixed the problem within minutes. He then checked several things to see if my 30 year old wiring had any potential problems… he suggested a change that seemed reasonable and would increase the safety of the electricity in my home. I would use Abacus again, and I would request the same electrician
