We upgraded our main panel and ran about 200' of wire to a sub panel in a guesthouse we added. Got quotes from three different companies. Eskew Electric's price came in about the same as one other company and much cheaper than the third. I ended up going with Eskew Electric because Sammy took the time to talk over details when he came out to quote the project. I also appreciated that he gave the most detailed quote, so I knew exactly what I was paying for (they were the only quote that included the gauge of wire they were installing).I'm very happy with the quality of the work.I had to wait about a week to be scheduled for the various phases of the project, but I can hardly blame them for being busy. Plan accordingly.

He did under cabinet lighting in our kitchen remodel, and then while he was here installed new smoke detectors throughout the house.Steve helped us pick out good brands of products, then let us pick them up to save a little money. He does good work, is careful about cleaning up after himself, and took great care to protect our floor and new counters. His price was very fair...exactly what he quoted for the work.

Luis went above and beyond when our AC had stopped working. He even offered to stay way past working hours until the city fixed the line to our house to make sure we weren’t stranded that night without AC. He even fixed our porch light while he was here. He was the absolute best!

When Jeff left the business, I was a little apprehensive as he was a hydronic heating specialist, but Ben stepped in a couple years ago to perform annual maintenance on our HVAC. When we decided to sell our townhome, we called Efficient asking for Ben and came out a few minutes early and went to work. Our 18 year old system has been consistently been performing flawlessly for the past four years. Unfortunately a ‘home inspector’ stated our AC was underperforming, requiring repair or replacement. Although our system is ‘mature’ it works well, and Ben came out again at the buyer’s request, performed another inspection and test of our system, took plenty photos to document the performance for the buyer. Moral of the story, not all ‘inspectors’ know or understand AC systems, and occasionally it takes a capable professional to teach them how to evaluate an AC system. Call Efficient.

APC was recommended for remodeling electrical work when we moved to Austin in 2010. Since then, APC has serviced our AC/ heating unit annually at our home and also a rental home. They have done a number of electrical upgrades and fixed any problems we've had over the past 7 years.
