Best Electrical Unit in Austin TX

I assume they have astronomical rates for a reason. I called for quote to install a power outlet inside my home, fully aware of the quote fee. The electrician shows up and quotes me $450.00 for the job. $450.00 for a simple indoor power outlet. Doesn’t offer an explanation as the why it’s so expensive but happily takes the quote fee and leaves. I’ve contacted another business that quoted the job at half the cost since dealing with this. Just be warned that they price gouge and have no qualms scaring customers away with their ridiculous quotes, just to collect there quote fee.

I scheduled an appointment online through the Generac website and requested an estimate. They directed me to this company and emailed me a scheduled appointment for April 1st which was five weeks after my request. The day of the scheduled visit I decided to call to find out what time someone was coming. There was no answer so I left a detailed message and nobody ever called me back and they never showed up. I made arrangements to be home the entire day and waited five weeks for an estimate and this company ghosted me. I definitely would not recommend.

One day in my house the air conditioning began to sound strange, I did not give it much importance because I thought it was common, to my surprise it was not, after 10 minutes smoke began to come out of the appliance, I had to turn it off immediately but the heat was unbearable, I looked for a tech near my area and I found this company on Google Maps, I called the company a little worried hoping that they could help me urgently, the person in charge of the telephone line told me that he would see if I had any tech available and would call me back shortly, within 10 minutes he let me know if there was availability and within 30 minutes Kendrick was at my house, he did a deep clean and repaired my air conditioner, he also gave me several maintenance tips, I felt very happy with the service.

Initially we purchased a new HVAC unit through Home Depot and ARC was the company they used to install it. The installers were nice but we later found out they made some errors. After 1 year our coolant had leaked out and luckily it was covered at the time. Here we are another year later (2years after getting a completely new hvac system for approx. $14k) and having the same exactly problem. Which means twice the problem hasn’t been fixed. The technician that came out today told me the 3 year old compressor wasn’t going to last long and just to extend the life of the compressor it would cost approx. $3k! Additionally my appointments were canceled twice and the third time I was given 10 minutes notice before the technician arrived, despite the expectations of 45 mins from the original scheduler. Dispatch was very rude and left a snarky message. I’m very unhappy with the service and will be contacting hq about it.
