I own a small business and I really never want to trash another small company but I have sat with this a few months now and saving someone else from going through what I did is the right thing to do. I will try to keep this short and to the point. Partial rewrire and upping the service to a 1100 sq ft home. I was with out power for 4 months. They shut off my power to my tiny house to do the transfer that they hadn’t set up with the city. The drilled holes in my roof for support cables which caused leaks in my roof ruining my Sheetrock. They ran a conduit pipe 14 feet down the skirt of my house instead of putting it inside the skirting where it couldn’t be seen. My outlets in the backsplash are all different heights. Not in a straight line. The light that should be centered above my sink is two inches off center to the right. The pantry light isn’t at the front of the ceiling...I could just go on and on. My original quote that got Gabe the job was $8800 I paid him $12,000 after adding a few outlets. Long story short the jobs not done we finally just had to cut our losses and ask him to leave. Some of his work has had to be corrected by another electrician. Some of it can’t be corrected. Again I don’t want to trash anyone but I am living with a light two inches off center and there is nothing I can afford to do about it now...it’s very disheartening not to mention I am nervous my house is going to burn down. At one point sparks where flying in the sub panel. I would have to recommend you use some one else. I’m sorry capital city electric. You screwed me.

WOW is all I have to say, as a property manager I deal with various vendors on a daily basis for repairs. I was extremely impressed with the level of service, promptness and communication I received. Will definitely use again in the future.

Ok - just leaving HEB on way to my car and unbeknownst to me, I dropped my phone (which also had my credit cards/ID).2 men in a Hurley Electric truck honked to get my attention and alerted me I dropped something.When they passed and asked if it was my phone, I shared it also included Credit Cards/ID. I thanked them profusely and they winked and tapped the Hurley Electric logo on the truck door and said. L&R came through in a time of emergency for us. We had a mishap with our landscaping company and they cut ours and our neighbors power lines. Austin Energy had our power back in a short time but our neighbors had damage to the meter. We were in a scramble and had been given L&R as a reccomendation. After an early morning phone call they came out the same day and got to work. Not only did they fix the meter and get the power to the point of AE hooking it back up they did the job very quickly. AE came soon after and reconnected the power and we are happy to say they had no issues with the work performed. L&R even gave us a call that evening to make sure everything went smoothly, that kind of customer service is hard to find. We not only recommend this company but also will be using them in the future for any repairs or upgrades to our electrical. Thank you all at L&R so much for your help and especially for showing that you care and have your customers' best interest at heart.
