Quality work, fair value, fair treatment, and transparency are my key takeaways after Holtzman completed a kitchen remodel and flooring for us. Our project included some interior wall changes, appliance relocation, and reframing for a larger back door. My wife and I shopped 3 different well known general contractors for our job and Holtzman slotted in the middle price estimate wise. We really appreciated that they include a computer sketch of your remodel free with the consultation which the other companies would not do without a deposit. This really helped us gauge if the company had a good grasp on what we were wanting (and they did). The design process was relaxed and we never felt pressured to spend. Communication with our project manager Jaryd was fast and we were pleased with his attention to detail and how he listened to our concerns and needs throughout the process, accommodating our requests to the best of his abilities.
We experienced an atypical circumstance during our project where the person we worked with on our cabinet design ended up leaving the company before our cabinet order was correctly placed. This caused a bit of a handoff fumble as Holtzman completed our demolition thinking the order from the former employee was ready when it actually was not which resulted in a period of time where we had a completely demo'd kitchen and no cabinet delivery. It's important to understand that this is not a regular occurrence and simply an unfortunate coincidence that happened to coincide with our project. The new cabinet designer (Chelsea) was a breeze and got our incomplete order all fixed up and expedited.
I am sharing this slip up despite it's coincidental nature because it showcases this company's ability to make up for some turbulence in a very respectable fashion which ultimately solidifies our trust in them. I was impressed that Holtzman was completely transparent with what happened and did not try to avoid any accountability. Although there was nothing we could do as we had to wait for our correct cabinet order to be produced, the team at Holtzman completed as much of our project as they could until cabinets arrived and positioned themselves for a sprint to the finish once the cabinets were delivered. Once the cabinets came you could really tell they wanted to make up for lost time. Jaryd was extremely helpful by scheduling Cabinet install, flooring, plumbing, tile, and electrical very efficiently and even getting people onsite over the weekend to get everything wrapped up as quickly as possible. The workers on our job were pleasant, skilled, and personable. My wife and are are extremely happy with the quality of work and how everything came out at completion. Time spent in our new kitchen is now a relaxing and serene experience we never want to leave. Afterwards we were reimbursed for excess expenses like furniture storage which we incurred as a direct result of the delay caused by the cabinet order mix up, which I feel like not every company would be willing to do and prefer to instead chalk it up as (well these things happen in construction).
I have complete confidence saying that I would trust this company again for a future project and feel good knowing that they are going to do things correctly and have our best interest in mind. Before and after pics attached.

If you want work done on your home and money is no object then this is the place for you. I cannot speak to the quality of the work that they do because it never got that far. I placed a $5000 deposit so they could get started on the design work. I understand that this is a lot of work and they need some sort of certainty that they can recoup some of their expenses. What they came back with was an astronomical bid. I won't get into the whole issue of pricing but here is an example. They had a line item in for repainting the house (all walls, baseboards, doors and ceilings). The amount that they came up with was $7000. Note that this is a 2600 square foot house. After seeing this red flag I met at the house that weekend with 2 painters to get bids for the same work. They came back with bids of $1700 and $2500.

In an effort to get some value for the $5000 that I had already committed I told them that I would still hire them to install the folding wall system in the house. They returned with a bid of $34,956. I have also reached out for competing bids. I have only received one back but it came in at $19,554.25.

I will be looking elsewhere or I will do the work myself. Do yourself a favor and don't even get started here. I cannot believe that if feels good to be walking away from $5000.

My wife and I have remolded 4 different homes with 4 different contractors. API with out a doubt was the best contractor we have ever used. Sherry our general was on site almost everyday overseeing the days progress . My wife and I are very particular and Sherry made sure everything was perfect every step of the way. She even had a running list of items to be corrected before we had noticed them. If you've ever had to have a contractor come back to fix something after a big project you will know how invaluable that is. I will tell you that with the rising cost of construction if you want your next project done right and the best quality I would only use API.

Shannon and his team were very responsive and committed to getting our job done. They worked in an ever changing project without change orders and kept the project moving... they focused on keeping the budget tight and brought solutions to each problem we “encountered” as we peeled the layers of a remodel

Princeton Construction takes care of their customers. They do the job right and provide first class service. Pleasure doing business with them. Highly recommend!

We hired Arizona Electrical Solutions to do some work at Macys, we are a nationwide general commercial construction company. The owner Will was more than pleasant to work with! He was very knowledgeable about electrical and data. I am very fortunate I called them to come out and complete this project. Working in a retail store is very demanding and political but Will and his crew were a perfect fit. I really recommend using this company!! Not only do they do great work and our efficient but Will is a great guy overall!

These guys remodeled our dental office front area and did a wonderful job, I would recommend if your looking for a quality contractor that doesn't overcharge for their service!

Please be careful hiring this company.. The owner is very dishonest and push back starting times. The work did not match the expectation we thought we would get...

We received great service from this company. They replaced our roof and painted the interior of our home. We also had new carpet installed. They answered our questions , addressed any concerns and made us happy. I really appreciated their professionalism.

Shawn Goetzinger (owner) has zero consideration for anyone's time but his own. As a business owner he shows a serious lack of professionalism, is not responsive to calls, texts, or emails, and has a narcissistic attitude to those around him. If you want to work with a company that is rude and inconsiderate of other people's time and shows no signs of professionalism in the workplace then this is the company for you, otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Update: I was going to leave my review as is and move on but since the response from the owner wants to spread LIES and create a false narrative about my experience with the company I will spell out exactly what happened. I submitted an application to Form Third for a Superintendent position and was contacted by Shawn Goetzinger asking if I could zoom interview for the position in the next 2 days. Finally 3 days later the interview was scheduled. I canceled another scheduled interview that was supposed to happen during the same time slot to interview for the position. I logged on 10 minutes before the interview and waited for 30 minutes and nobody showed up, just me staring at a blank screen. No call, no text, no email, nothing. As you can imagine I was not happy about canceling my other interview for no reason and completely wasting my time preparing. I very politely reached out to Shawn to ask about the interview and about an hour later he replied that he was sorry but something came up. A little notice would have been nice but no worries, things happen. We reschedule for Sunday and although I had family in town and plans to enjoy a day at the lake, I canceled my plans so I could interview for the position. Once again I get online 10 min early and sit in front of a blank computer for 30 min. Again no call, no text, no email, nothing. At this point I am irate at the blatant disrespect shown and clearly begin to see I am dealing with someone who thinks their time is much more valuable than mine. The following day I have still heard nothing, so against my better judgment I reach out AGAIN very politely to see what happened and get completely ignored. At this point I had enough of the rude, unprofessional behavior and decided to write the review above to share my experience so others won't waste their time like I did. After all that is what a review is for right? To let others know about your experience so they can make an informative decision about whether they want to do business, or in my case, seek employment with a business. As you see by the owners reply, they paint a VERY different picture of what actually happened, going as far as to say I unsuccessfully interviewed for the position and they decided to go in a different direction with a candidate who's skill set is more in line with the job qualifications. I NEVER interviewed for this position and his response is a complete LIE! In fact the first time I heard back from anyone was yesterday when his attorney sent me an email threatening me to take my post down or else, even though I had done nothing legally wrong. The attorney threatened legal action and gave me Shawn's fabricated story of what happened. He was even unprofessional enough to try to take jabs about my character in the process. This email was followed by yet another threatening email from Shawn Goetzinger stating that I would continue to hear from his attorney until my review was taken down. After realizing that I have all written proof that Shawn's story was fabricated and that I was not backing down from their idle threats, I received a last ditch, sorry excuse of an apology from Shawn begging me to take the post down. I despise people who treat others like Shawn Goetzinger does and never get held accountable for their actions. With no accountability, his actions will continue to happen which is unfair to anyone doing business or seeking employment with him and his company. I hope this review spares someone else's time, or better yet makes Shawn second guess his rude behavior to others moving forward.
