Best Custom Cabinet Design And Installation in Phoenix AZ

We recently had two bathrooms remodeled by Retro Pro and are very happy with the results. We found that Eric (the owner) and Angela (the designer) were very easy to deal with. They came up with several good ideas and suggestions which we implemented that improved the project.
We were very pleased with Omar, our project manager, as well as Max who was the technician working with him. They did very high quality work and Omar kept us fully informed of the status with daily updates on what they had done and what they had planned for that day.
The project was two complete bathroom remodels in our house which is over fifty years old. The new bathrooms look great, and you can tell the excellent quality of workmanship and materials used by Retro Pro. The project came in ahead of schedule and on budget. We’re very happy with the results and look forward to working with them on more projects in the future.

The first time I worked on one of Project Construction LLC's jobs as a sub it was evident that Robert knew what he was doing. He's well organized, clean, and likes to work smart. Not to mention, his attention to detail is outstanding. I give this builder two thumbs up and will use him on all of my personal projects in the future.

A basic professional that is knowledgeable, expert and also terrific to work with! Remodeling a cooking area is such a huge bargain that we put it off for quite time. The planning was really extensive. We had a terrific exchange of suggestions to ultimately develop the style and products we wanted and the end result shows it. We have a kitchen area remodel that is perfect for our household and also way of living.

I would recommend Granite Transformation for the excellent job they did installing our new counter tops with matching backslash. Nino and Tino were very professional and courteous throughout the job. I hired Gary Fallone of Fallone Kitchen and Bath to remodel most of my house -- an all-new kitchen, guest bathroom, flooring plus a few other things -- and I am delighted with the end result. I wanted a kitchen that combined stunning aesthetics and logical function and he really excelled in putting it all together. He also designed a media cabinet in the great room that has caught the eye and admiration of all my guests. Despite the pandemic, and related issues and surprises in the supply chain, my project was completed on time and within budget. The renovation process can be messy and dirty but Gary and his team kept the worksite tidy and cleaned up at the end of every day. His employees and subcontractors are focused on getting the job done well and right the first time and are really the best at what they do. I highly recommend him.

We shopped around for different cabinet builders and decided to go with New Age Cabinet Coatings for our custom media center built in due to their reasonable price and good reviews. We were not disappointed! Victor, Jonathan and Luis were so professional and friendly. They really delivered on everything we asked for. They paid attention to every last detail and the final product exceeded our expectations! The craftsmanship is unbelievable. They used high quality materials and paint. They didn't leave any construction debris after they were done and overall it was a great experience working with them. We are so happy with the way it turned out and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking to get quality work done. The warranty they offer is the icing on the cake. I had a horrible time in your Tempe location. I ask the guy to help me reimagine my space. He couldn’t walk me through options. He told me I need to know what I want and was more interested in helping the next customer. He did not take the time to walk me through options. Told me to just walk around the store. He was impatient, insensitive and horrible. My home is unexpectedly under siege after a water leak we are living displaced and forced to make a whole bathroom kitchen renovation over night due to damages. And it tested positive for asbestos. It is stressful enough. To go in and have someone so rude was the icing on the cake. I took the time to take exact measurements and drew out of my pantry, kitchen and dining space to bring in hoping for ideas, concepts and possibilities. What a crushing disappointment.

I will start off by stating that Ernesto is a very nice person and pleasant to work with. I hired him to handle the design for my restaurant and the complete project was a mess and huge waste of money.

Here is some things that went wrong:

He ordered a new lighting for my place but overlooked the fact that my restauarnt uses 220volt and the lighting he purchased was 120volt. I had to incur the additional cost to have the contractors reduce the voltage and rewire etc.

The color of the paint he selected for the walls was horrendous. I had my concerns when he presented it to me but he assured me he is an expert and that it will look great. As soon as it was done, I had customers tell me that they disliked it. We have since repainted the entire place ourselves.

My walls used to have tile that went up about 4ft to protect the walls from chairs rubbing against it. He removed that tile and simply painted the walls. Within 3 months the walls were completely damaged and scuffed up that they had to be repainted.

The out door furniture he selected (Chairs) were made of some sort of plastic mesh that basically melted from the heat and broke so all of those had to be replaced within a yr.

The TV mounts he selected did not work out at all and had to be replaced at my cost.

The bench seating he selected (Cloth) was basically black from people resting their hands on it while in line so now I have to replace the booth seating or reupholster it. I would think he would have selected something a bit more durable.

The lighting he selected did not accomplish the goal of brightening up the place and looks tacky. Many of our customers have stated they dislike it and we are now planning on changing it all out to track lighting.

The large round table he had built for us has completed been damaged from normal use due to poor design. Much of it has to be repaired.

We had high hopes when we hired him but were extremely dissappointed with the results. Not only did it look bad, but all the material and design was not designed for commercial use. Just 2 yrs later, we are having to completely replace and redesign virtually EVERYTHING we paid him to do.

In my opinion, Ernesto is better suited for residential design and not commercial. He made no effort to correct the issues. Once he was paid, I never heard from him again. Also, you'll notice he never used our restaurant in his portfolio. I guess even he recognizes that it was poorly done and not worth displaying on his site.

In hindsight, I wish we never would have hired him and that we would have done all the things he did ourselves. We would have saved over 30K dollars and ended up with a much better result.

I walked up wondering if this tiny storefront would yield anything useful. After visiting a half dozen cabinet stores I came here and I'm glad I did. They have a great selection at a wide range of price points. There was so many great choices it was easy to find what I really wanted that I hadn't seen at any other chain store. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience and can't recommend this local shop highly enough.

We had broken a window during a remodel and had to have it replaced. We chose them in October 2020 as the sales person said they could do it quickly since he has an order with a builder, and to make sure everything matches in the space since they had aluminum frames, we ordered 5 total windows and a double sliding door to replace a window and a door. In late January/early February they were finally out to do it as they had some issues with the manufacturer getting them windows, and there was no communication from RemodAZ with updates until we started to hound them. 12 weeks after anticipating 8 weeks, and had to put our flooring install on hold since the door changed the wall line a bit.

The installation was a horrible 5 day ordeal, shoddy new framing work leaving doors and windows being out of plumb/tweaked so they are really hard to open and close, my family won't even use one side of the slider. They also broke the new window during install which was the replacement for the one we broke that started this all, but they assured me they ordered the window on the spot, there are gaps in the aluminum frames on some of the windows and the paint is horrible. These windows and doors seemed to miss Quality Control altogehter. About a month after install, they sent someone out from the glass company who confirmed they were installed incorrectly, but just sprayed some silicon lubricant and did no thing with the frame elements that were supposed to be replaced with the slider due to paint defects and operation, nor the broken glass. Then nothing from them until May when Anna let me know they could not get the aluminum any longer which is months after it was ordered, but could replace in Vinyl. I told her they would all need to be replaced to match, but she couldn't respond as she was just the messenger, I asked to talk to someone who could actually make decisions for the company.

Continued silence for another month, then I get a message from Anna saying Tammy is coming out with the glass guy to finish on June 16'th, which was confirmed between 10 and 1, and on the 16th no one came out - no call no show. We were home so this was not a missed connection. On June 22nd I get a message from Anna threatening to take me to court for not being able to finish. I still don't have my kitchen together since the window still needs to be replaced. They have made no effort on their end and don't come out when they 'confirmed' they would. I reiterated that they need to have someone. I had to fix problems they created by not doing the drywall and electrical work correctly. I replied to the text saying someone who can make decisions would need to contact me, now in text as clearly everything should be in writing, and no response yet.

I would not recommend RemodAZ, my house is still not done and we still have a broken window, but they are constantly delaying and now threatening when this 8 week project turned into 9 months, all for 5 windows and a door.
