I contacted Harmon Solar about installing a solar panel system on my home. I was contacted and left a voicemail stating that they looked at my house on Google Earth and that they do not install on mobile homes. I called back and spoke with the girl who left me a voicemail and asked her if she understood that my roof is a free standing structure supported and built on a foundation. After asking her that question she was kind enough to go back to the design team and check with them. After a brief hold I'm greeted by a new person asking if I'm interested in installing solar panels on my mobile home. At this point t I knew he didn't understand or really care to try and understand my point that they would not be installed on a mountain ile home but on a roof built on foundation. After telling him yes and explaining my situation he told me that the contractors would not approve it (without ever looking into it further for me). When I asked why he told me it is u stable. I would understand that if they were installed on the roof of the mobile home but why is that on a site but roof no different from other site built homes? His response was a loop of they won't approve it. Very disappointing and not interested in my concerns. Bad experience.
